Overall, I think all the features of this sound bar and its modularity make it pretty enticing for a kids room or the non-audio file person in your life. The LED feature can add a pretty significant ambience to a rooms aesthetic. Connectivity is great and offers the standard gamut of I/o’s including optical, HDMI, 1/8” aux, Bluetooth, I grown to see in most modern sound bars. The app is relatively easy to navigate that you can use in conjunction with the included remote to control the sound bar along with some interesting features, such as a graphical EQ with some presets that work pretty decently. The speakers themselves have a great sound quality, however can sound a bit anemic without a subwoofer. It does have an output for a subwoofer, but it is not included which I strongly recommend to have a better audio experience. It will have to be a powered subwoofer as well as the sound bar does not have any power output to support a subwoofer on its own.One of the standout features I do like about this unit is how modular of a set up you can obtain with the included stands and mounting points throughout, allow a user to really dial in a unique audio set up, built completely on user preference. It offers short and long cables to attach left and right speakers to the central unit. Long cables are long enough for most people’s needs and the short cables help you tidy up if you want just one sound bar unit. LEDs are bright and have some features that can be accessed by the app to create a desired atmosphere. Volume output is decent. It does not get exorbitantly loud and I did not notice any distortion when on the loudest setting when I mounted it securely. If you like your music loud, you may want to look elsewhere.Overall, I think this is a good value in terms of the features offered by a sound bar. It’s easy to connect to with Bluetooth and the app is very responsive in regards to controlling the unit. It’s really well made as well and I could imagine it lasting a long time in terms of judging it solely on it’s build quality. I think overall functionality is great and very easy to hook up to other devices. I’m taking off one star for the lack of bass response and the additional necessity of a powered subwoofer to make it a more complete experience.

Sounds good and fits on the cabinet
My wooden entertainment unit is old and designed for a large old square TV in the middle with tuners and players of various kinds of media on the left side. The space that used to hold a TV now holds other electronics. A large flat screen TV is on the top and this sound bar fit nicely on top of the cabinet and in front of the feet of the flat screen TV.I was able to set this up using the included remote control, WITHOUT having to install a potentially (or inevitably) info-stealing app. I had to turn off the LED color light effects which were way too distracting. If it couldn’t be turned off, I would have given it -2 stars. But all is good.The large open area beneath the TV and sound bar creates a nice bass resonance, which I didn’t anticipate (but makes perfect sense). Overall, I’m pleased with the sound.It’s not Hi-Fi, audiophile, quality sound, but it’s fine for Sci-Fi and superhero movies. And it sounded fine as well for watching a orchestral music documentary (Vangelis).The regular price ($200 at the time I write this) seems a little on the high side, but the construction seems study and the flexibility of having a horizontal bar or separate dual vertical bars has to cost something. The current sale price ($120) is reasonable. In my book it’s probably worth around $160-$170.

Ho recentemente preso la soundbar ULTIMEA Apollo S70 e devo dire che ha superato di gran lunga le mie aspettative. Offre un’esperienza audio coinvolgente che trasforma il mio salotto in un vero e proprio home theater. La configurazione 5.0 canali crea un campo sonoro ampio e dettagliato, con bassi profondi e dialoghi chiari. L’effetto surround è davvero immersivo, soprattutto durante la visione di film e serie TV. Il design moderno e minimalista si adatta perfettamente a qualsiasi ambiente. La retroilluminazione RGB aggiunge un tocco di stile e può essere personalizzata in base ai tuoi gusti. L’app dedicata rende la configurazione e il controllo molto intuitivi. È possibile regolare il volume, l’equalizzazione e altre impostazioni direttamente dallo smartphone. La presenza di diverse porte di ingresso consente di collegarla a una vasta gamma di dispositivi. La possibilità di staccare il canale centrale e la retroilluminazione RGB sono caratteristiche interessanti che aggiungono versatilità. La consiglio, è un’ottima scelta per chi cerca un’esperienza audio di alta qualità a casa.

Non mi soffermerò sulle caratteristiche tecniche in quanto facilmente reperibili sulla pagina del prodotto, descriverò piuttosto quello che è il mio pensiero dopo averlo utilizzato per qualche giorno.Il prodotto è ben confezionato e le istruzioni al suo interno abbastanza chiare da consentire un’installazione ed un utilizzo rapido. Nella confezione viene fornito tutto ciò che serve per poter collegare il prodotto a dispositivi sorgente (HDMI, cavo Ottico, Cavo Aux, ecc..), inoltre sono nella confezione anche i supporti per chi volesse fissare l’oggetto a muro.La soundbar può essere utilizzata come pezzo unico lineare, oppure può essere utilizzata come due torrette laterali più la consolle centrale (io la preferisco come unico pezzo), i collegamenti sono semplicissimi ed eseguibili anche senza seguire le istruzioni per chi ha un po’ di dimestichezza.La qualità del suono è di buon livello ed il volume massimo non è poi così alto, tuttavia è assolutamente adeguato per guardare la TV o ascoltare musica in casa. Può essere impostata la modalità di suono a seconda di ciò che si deve ascoltare (Musica, Cinema, Sport, Videogames, Voci o Modalità Notte) e la differenza di suono è effettivamente percepibile.Ottima la possibilità di gestire i comandi sia dalla soundbar stessa, sia dal telecomando in dotazione, sia dall’App.Ho avuto dei problemi di funzionamento con il prodotto, l’assistenza si è rivelata essere velicissima nel rispondere ed efficientissima nella risoluzione dei problemi.Il marchio ULTIMEA non lo conoscevo affatto ma sembra avere alle spalle un’azienda molto seria.

Seguendo le indicazioni, ma soprattutto il video sul sito di Ultimea sono riuscita ad installare senza grosse difficoltà la soundbar, la parte più complessa è capire come incastrarle sulla base, ma una volta trovato il punto giusto basta girare e il gioco è fatto.Sulla mia televisione Samsung pur essendo presente l’uscita ARC non ha funzionato, allora ho optato per il collegamento ottico: immediatamente l’audio è partito sia su soundbar che tv facendo eco, ma è stato sufficiente modificare un’impostazione sull’uscita audio perchè l’audio arrivasse esclusivamente dalla soundbar. Ovviamente una volta collegato il volume si regola dal telecomando Ultimea (nella scatola c’è veramente tutto, tranne che le pile del telecomando).Purtroppo il miglioramento a livello audio non è sostanziale, va un po’ meglio rispetto a quello della smart TV, ma non quanto mi aspettassi.Invece sono rimasta positivamente sorpresa dalla confezione: una valigetta perfettamente organizzata dove ogni singolo elemento è ben protetto in modo da non muoversi. L’aspetto è quello di un prodotto di alto livello.
