What is Verve?
Verve lets you create, film, and share fun and exciting advertising commercials with friends and family. You draw different themes, product types, and challenges to earn points and win the title of the best actor or actress on set! This is for those who enjoy having fun while improving their acting and improv skills, and maybe even becoming famous for their mesmerizing performances on film.
How to Play
Gather the Players
You can play either as individual or in teams. The youngest player starts.
Draw the Cards
Every round deal 1 card from each category to the team or player whose turn it is. Play them face up for everyone to see.
Create Your Commercial
Each player, or team, will have 2 mins to use their cards to create a commercial. Use the cards and any prop around you to deliver your verve-mercial to your audience, while they record your video for social uploads and recognition (optional).

Fun family game
Very fun game, best to play over a few drinks or with some extroverted friends. it is a great way to get people out of their shell and work on sales pitch skills at the same time. Good for an ice breaking activity as well. Everyone really enjoyed it.

Fun and creative game for any age group
This is a fun interactive game that requires creativity and maybe a few firm steps out of your comfort zone. You basically make commercials or advertisement videos based on the criteria specified by a combination of the cards. It is not really a win/lose game, but more of a fun experience for everyone.

The quality of the cards was mediocre. The advertisement led me to believe it was three separate decks of cards. Upon arrival I discovered it is simply one deck with three separate colors of cards.For children who require structure and rules, this is not the game for you. This is more fly by the seat of your pants or loosey-goosey as we would say it at our home. I could see this in a high school or freshman in college marketing class or simple business class. It creates a small team environment for brain storming.I would related this to more of a acting out ideas similar to Pictionary… but with a twist.This game was not for us. It will be donated to the local high school business department.do not recommend if your circumstances are similar to mine, needing structured games.

More Fun than I expected!
Bought this for game nights with friends, definitely exceeded my expectations. I even brought it to a bachelorette party and we had so much fun laughing. I thought the price was more than fair and would recommend it to friends.

A Bit Pricey for a Deck of Cards
So this is a cute idea and I got it to use with my Sales Team the next time we get together for a Sales Kickoff. The cards are decent quality but it is basically just a deck of cards with limited instructions. I think this game is very much what you make it and you’re sure to come up with your own rules.Being a sales guy and having some very extroverted members of the family, I think we will have some fun with this. I feel like, for the price, there would be a card holder/separator by type for keeping the card separate.Not a bad idea and with a little work this could be a fun game for families, friends, and co-workers.4.3/5

Fun concept if you play with the right people
This game has good creative potential with the right group. I love that it challenges people to get out of their shell and rewards creativity. The game has great potential for people looking to develop acting skills, marketing skills, or general adlibbing skills. I would like to see more card options, but admittedly the included cards have endless creative potential depending on the way they are mixed and the group that is playing. I would have loved to see an instructional video on the website instead of just promotional videos, but I was able to figure out what I needed to know to play. The cards are attractive and well done.

Great for groups
My daughter was looking for games for people to play at her wedding reception while waiting for the family photographs to finish. While we haven’t played this one yet, it looks pretty fun and easy to learn. I ordered without reading the description carefully, and I thought it came with three different decks. It is just one deck. Just in case anybody else assumes like I did.After we play it and have some feedback I will update my review if necessary. Made in the USA (Texas).
