The Vic Firth Heavy Hitter Quadropad for marching tenors features accurately spaced pads for the most authentic practice experience! The thin, hard rubber surface provides the authentic feel and response of a high-tension marching tenor head, with quick rebound and tight articulation. The single pitch of this pad allows you to hear your playing without the pitch changes that can mask quality issues in your playing. The rubber pads are the first playable area on a set of drums to help you develop accuracy. If you hit the pad surface, you cleared the rim; if you hit the wood, you’ve hit the rims. A set of laminates is included, which provide extra articulation to the lowest playable dynamic levels and allow you to practice scrapes without the grab from the rubber, creating a similar feel from the Quadropad to your drums. The small Quadropad is for players used to a 8-inch #1 drum.
The Vic Firth Heavy Hitter Smaller Quadropad is perfect for the marching tenor drummer
The responsive rubber gum pads are laid out to match the ideal set of marching drums
The Vic Firth Small Quadropad includes 2 thinner rubber “spock” drum pads, giving the player the ability to set up 5 drum or 6 drum configurations
Great for quiet home practice and warm ups
At only 2.6Kg the Quadropad is portable and can fit into a back pack

Gift to both kids and parents!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these! My daughter is a high school percussionist and beats on anything and everything with her drumsticks. At times, DRIVES US CRAZY! We hate to tell her to stop as to not encourage her to practice, so these are a blessing for both parents and kids! Now she can practice all she wants and we can tolerate letting her!! The quality of this practice pad is great. So sturdy and sized as a normal set of quads to allow for true practice. Definitely worth the money! Best Christmas gift we bought our daughter. She even put this on a stand and it works great! Itâs only the end of January and we have already gotten our monies worth. You canât go wrong with this item!

Perfect for Tenor Drum Practice!
My son is in the marching band and was placed on tenors this coming year. We ordered this for his summer practice sessions and it is SO nice! Hard, sturdy material; fits perfectly on his existing practice pad stand; and the spacing of the drum head practice pads was super easy.

It’s true to size comparison of Quads ,durable. My son plays hard daily&it’s been great X4 months
I got it when I saw the price dropped: about $30 and I jumped at the deal. It was the one main thingð my 19 year old wanted for Christmas ðto practice as he is in his college’s marching band ð¼ðµð¶ð¥ and was trying out for the Quads. It is perfect and just as described. The only CONs I see is there is no stand you can purchase or straps/way to carry it to simulate playing the way he would on the field, and the simple fact that the constant tappingð¥ drives me insane ð¤ªLOLð¤£

Very durable product, well made, should last a very long time.
Perfect for my son to practice wherever he is. Very well made, quite heavy but that’s what makes it durable, and won’t shift on table tops when in use. Cons: very slight cons but worth mentioning- wish there was a carry case included, only because when he’s carrying pad, sticks, music, etc- it’s a bit cumbersome. Also, wish there were other color options. And again, it is quite heavy, but that’s a pro (durability) and a con at the same time. Otherwise we love this quadropad, and will definitely recommend.

Pretty expensive for what it is
It’s just the pads gued onto a plastic ‘table’ basically, but the pads are very durable and I’m not afraid of hitting the pads or plastic too hard.

Parents: not that loud
My child uses this product all the time to practice his quads for marching band. He has no complaints. As for me, it is one of the quieter practice pads, so I’m not complaining either.

Spock-tastic
This heavy hitter practice pad is a dynamic tool for every tenor player! The acrylic pad covers give the practice pads a real drum head bounce. The size is easy to store and transport making practice easier to enable. The best feature has to be the self-placed spocks. Many online practice pads do not have spocks or only have one in the wrong place. This two pack give you the option of one or two and allows placement according to the drums you use to work your trade!

My son LOVES this. It was definitely pricey but seeing how happy it made him made it worth it. He practices on it for his drum line often and it has definitely helped him up his game.
