Easy to Use – Good for Video Podcasts
I’m a documentary filmmaker by trade who usually uses several manual DSLR cameras to shoot interviews, however, I started a podcast with a friend and found my pro kit was super cumbersome to manage and maintain while also being on camera. This lil’ guy was the answer. It’s a wide enough angle and high enough quality that it can get all three of us in the shot and I can zoom into whomever is talking in post without losing quality. Also nice is that I could attach my existing wireless lav and use for our guest so I don’t pick up too much noise. I still use a H4N with two wired lavs for host audio, but honestly the shotgun mic provided in this kit is probably fine for casual production. It comes with a light attachment that has a bight, warm, and cold setting which is cool for different effects – and all of the attachments are chargeable by USB-C. My only complaint would be that the hot shoe accessories included (light and shotgun mic) don’t have an additional hot shoe on top of them to stack another accessory – but that’s probably not an issue a casual video camera user cares about.All in all this lil’ guy cut my set-up time down by more than half and because it has a 360 degree view screen and a remote, I didn’t need to be behind the camera to hit stop and record. Bonus, it records on SD cards which makes it easy to transfer footage (it also apparently plugs right into a computer to record straight to hard drive or livestream, but I haven’t tried those.)I haven’t used it for much outside of attaching it to a pair of sticks for podcasts but its easy, lightweight, small, and fairly inexpensive enough that this camera is probably going to make onto the packing list for family vacations or projects I can do with the kids.

Good Camera with Lots of Features
I must say this camera kit is definitely outstanding with lots of features and collects good quality images, video and audio. The kit includes several little gems that makes using the camera easy and intuitive, for example, the camera mount with a handle makes it easy to maneuver the camera in any position so you can film video in several ways.The top-mounted light also adds lighting to the area for any close shots, and the front microphone makes directional recording a breeze. The camera itself has many useful settings such as being able to use the camera as a USB camera which facilitates use when doing blogging or live events. It can also be easily switched to File Transfer mode to move files from the SD card to your computer without having to remove the card.In addition, a 32GB card is included as well, which allows you to start working with the camera as soon as you unpack it. This is definitely convenient. The camera also allows you to switch between several recording modes such as 4K and 8K, however, the 8K setting can only record in 30 frames. I chose 4K at 60 frames which does a good job to ensure quality and good resolution.The only accessory we needed was a good stand (as pictured in my images) to ensure the camera was set properly and at a good height. The only real drawback to the camera is picture stabilization—there isn’t any mode in camera settings to reduce camera shake so you must be quite mindful of it, especially when recording around an area as a showcase.However, I used a video editor that offered stabilization, and some (not all) shakiness was resolved, perhaps with some more stable handling of the camera combined with the editor feature this is easily solved. But it was definitely an issue when we first used the camera.Overall, this is a great camera, a little pricey considering that 8K was only able to do 30 frames, but the kit provides allot of great things that make it worth it.

Great Value With Valuable Options
I didn’t know what to expect from this budget camera, but I needed something to put on a tripod to record my daughter’s wedding. She agreed that she was willing to take the chance since we saw good reviews. This one came with a microphone that sits on top of the camera with its own settings, 2 batteries and a nice camera light that also sits atop the camera. These were very handy for our purposes. It took great 4K video and I used 60 frames per second to make sure we had clear and sharp video movement. I was very pleased and would buy it again if the need arose. Two batteries were a big help! The only thing I would do differently is to buy a large SD card because I used 60 frames per second which took up double the space of 1080p video. The other great option was the carrying handle that I’m sure vloggers would find useful. It’s a very solid, well made add-on and I did not expect the quality.
