Problem extending the length of sensor to 16 ft
I tried to extended the sensor with a DS18B20 sensor. The sensor from Amazon did not work. I had to splice the sensor that came with controller into the 16 ft wire. But the device work good after that.

Works good for monitoring my deep freezer and extra fridge.
I used two of these to monitor my deep freezer and extra fridge. I was able to set them up in the Tuya app to give a notification on my phone if the temp goes too high. I can view them in Google home also, but the temp reads opposite units of the Tuya app for some reason (one reads °F, the other one °C), but both are correct and its no big deal to me.

I used this to keep an eye on my glycol lines for my outdoor furnace. When the temp gets too low it clicks on and my Google home sees that. So I have a routine that announces that the furnace needs wood and the hall lights come on in blue. On the flip side if the temp gets too high, google sees it and turns the lights on red and adjusts the thermostat up so the furnace runs and pull heat so that the outdoorfurnace doesn’t overheat. Worked like a charm. Great value for the money!

Great product. Installed on rabbit hutch to activate heater on cold nights. No earth but you can connect earths external to the box. Youâll want to put this inside a plastic box anyway, even if indoors – the live wires are easily exposed otherwise. Gives temperature and humidity readings. Confirms a change of settings by vibrating your phone. Still waiting to see if it will work automatically, even when WiFi is lost. Hoping it does.

Hatte Probleme mit der Temperatursteuerung an meinem Heizkessel. (Alte Bimetallsteuerung)Mit diesem Gerät kann ich nun per WLAN die Temperatur, den Energieverbrauch und die entsprechenden Schaltsequenzen leicht ermitteln und steuern. Alles wurde mit Alexa gekoppelt und funktioniert bestens.Beim Einbau des Sensors gab es nur leichte Probleme. Ich wollte den Kessel nicht anbohren. Aus diesem Grund habe ich lediglich schräg in die AuÃenhaut und die Wärmeisolierung ein 8mm Loch gebohrt. Durch dieses Loch führte ich den Sensor schräg bis an die Kesselwand heran. Das reicht aus um die entsprechenden Messwerte zu erhalten. Diese entsprechen natürlich nicht 100%ig der Wassertemperatur – da nur an Kesselwand gemessen. Ist aber zu ignorieren.
