convenient, functional, easy to use,
Overall, I am quite satisfied with the current use. Here are some of my experiences I want to share:
1. You can save videos without purchasing a subscription, which is very convenient. However, note that if you want to set up SMS alerts, there is an additional fee.
2. If you only need a doorbell and a visual panel, you don’t even need to connect to Wi-Fi. But if you want to set up motion detection, you need to connect to Wi-Fi and set up in your phone app.
3. Be aware that motion detection is off by default. If you need to turn it on, you need to go to the âsettingâ, but this âsettingâ is not accessed directly from the device page. Instead, you need to go to the âsetting.â after clicking the video. Initially, I didn’t know this and tried to set it from the device âsettingâ below, but after returning, I found it was still off by default. Honestly, I think the app’s layout is a bit confusing.
4. The sensitivity of motion detection is acceptable, but there is a few seconds delay, which is tolerable for me.
5. The visual panel can be used without being plugged in, but the battery duration is short. When I tested it, it took about half an hour for the visual panel’s battery to drop from 55% to 22%. But, the doorbell’s battery duration is good.
6. The doorbell is easy to disassemble; it uses a snap-on installation and doesn’t need extra screws to stay in place. Of course, if you don’t use screws, it won’t fall off but anyone can easily take it away, so I still recommended to screw it in.

Well this is all it was advertised to be! And I really love it . It works really good . Itâs great because it has its screen and you can see the people when they touch the ring and you can talk from that screen that it brings.

Incomplete – missing charging cords
Unfortunately due to an unfortunate accident and subsequent recovery period, I had this doorbell installed AFTER the return period deadline.
After a few weeks, I stopped getting notifications on the touch screen indoor monitor. That’s when I realized the doorbell has a +/- 30 day battery life along with USB and AC wall charging… that’s what’s missing from the box. So $200+ down the drain.

This ring camera is really cool. Itâs come with touch screen display. Itâs a Perfect gift for my parents. They told me itâs very smooth connection. Now they donât need worry about who rings the doorbell they can see a display before opening the door and Every time who rings the bell itâs will be recorded.
