It is very cheap, and it is maple wood. Good for lighter drumming, but will dent for heavier hints. No worries though, itâll be able to take a bunch of dents before any problem arises. If the dents bother you for any reason, look into hickory. The sound quality is fine, the grip is good. It plays well, good for beginners- a light tan color with caramel lines in it.

Good drum sticks for beginner
So I bought these as a gift. I know a kid that was taking up drumming. He had no previous experience. So I bought these as a gift for him so he could have his own drum sticks. I do go with him to his drum lessons over the last couple months. I asked the music teach if these were good drum sticks. The teacher told me yes they are good drum sticks for a beginner, but if he sticks with drumming that in the future he might need more advanced or better ones. So these work well for a beginner. He has used these for a couple of months. And yeah I would buy them again.
