Great value
Sound was good but I’d like more adjustability. Vocals don’t always come out clear like I’d like them. Six preset eq buttons on remote but I’d like to be able to adjust the eq myself and the supposed menu wouldn’t display on my new Tcl Roku tv. Imaging is better without using virtual 3D settings. Overall worth the money.

Subwoofer never would connect
Bought this based on some reviews I read from online soundbar reviewers saying quality for price was great, so I had high hopes. The instruction manual is highly lacking. I never could get the subwoofer to play any sound despite all lights indicating it was paired up. I tried info from the manual included in box, from a more extensive manual I found online, from using the Yamaha subwoofer app. Also found through a Google search that several others had this problem. Some were able to get it working by doing things they should not have to do; others had my problem and never got it working. Overall, this ended up being a very disappointing purchase. I am sending it back and will look for a different brand.

Turns Off All the Time
The sound bars cuts off every time to pause the TV. It only takes a few minutes, then you hit okay and no sound. You cannot change this setting. And The app does not connect or work. It worked for the first 6 months, and then would no longer connect. Sound is fine, but the functionality is lacking and annoying.

Easy setup Excellent Sound
I added the soundbar and subwoofer to an older LG smart TV . I have a sonos amp with 2 ceiling speakers and added the soundbar using the TV optical port. The sound bar works great and adds a true surround sound to my entertainment center.

Wimpy subwoofer
I bought this model because it was listed as a “best buy” on a couple of ratings. The sound bar improved the mid-range sounds (speech is easier to understand), but the subwoofer is so weak even though it was placed in the corner of the living room to accentuate the bass response. I played a movie with explosions (The Incredibles) and the subwoofer had almost no effect. I had an Infinity subwoofer in a previous system and the same movie practically shook the house. The ARC connection worked fine once I realized that it requires a separate HDMI cable (the manual was missing and the quick start guide didn’t address it).
