    Surprising
Totally a steal! Not for the audiophile, but easily worth the money. It has an app, the connection is easy and stable, the sound is quality, and the various settings in the app offer a decent range of options. #bargain #gadgets #bass

The best soundbar ever made ! 😮
I’m not exaggerating when I say Yamaha has made a staggering soundbar for budget price.I compared this with Sonos beam and Sennheiser mini and Polk mini and this is the best soundbar very close to Sonos arc if you can believe that. Wow

    No onscreen volume level
I have this hooked up via HDMI cable to the ARC HDMI on my Samsung TV so I control the volume with my TV remote. I use the sound bar’s remote to change functions.Good points: The sound is much better than the TV’s sound. Easy set-up.It loses one star because there is no onscreen display for the sound volume level. When using either the TV’s remote or the sound bar’s remote, the display you get is a +, the name SR-C20A, and a -, no actual level, either number or bar graph. When watching TV in the morning, the sound I need is lower than what I need at night. Instead of being able to quickly lower to the number I know works for the morning, I have to judge based on actual sound volume. So, it is just trial and error getting the volume you want.

A great soundbar with awesome sound!
I bought this Yamaha soundbar to go along with a 32″ Samsung TV that we bought for my daughter for college. We have a larger Yamaha soundbar that we use with our 52″ TCL TV, and it works great. My son and I connected it last night, and it was plug and play simplicity. This soundbar comes with an optical cable, so you don’t have to buy one separately. Note- the optical cable comes with small, opaque plastic covers on each end of the cable. These need to be removed before you attach the optical cable to either the TV or the soundbar. All you have to do is plug the optical cable into the “TV” outlet on the back of the soundbar and into the “Optical audio” outlet on the TV, go to settings on your TV and select “Optical audio” on audio inputs, and you are all set to go- 5 minutes start to finish. (BTW- this speaker is also Bluetooth compatible; however, my Samsung TV does not support Bluetooth; hence the need for an optical cable). We watched “Shrek” online, and the sound quality of this soundbar as compared to the TV’s built-in speakers is a night and day difference. Since the audio is as important as the video, you owe it to yourself to get a high quality soundbar. This Yamaha soundbar fits the bill perfectly.

    Very Very Impressed
This soundbar checked all the boxes for us. 1-Smaller than most as it was going in a small space. 2-Ease of Installation; plugged it in and added an HDMI cable from the unit to the ARC channel on the TV. 3-Sound was very much noticeably better all listeners agreed; dialogue was more clear, better base, highs not as harsh sounding. 4-Turned on & Off automatically with the TV so we don’t need the extra remote unless we want to change the equalizer settings. So yah, overall perfect.

If you’re new to soundbars this is the best entry
Yamaha is a trusted brand of mine when it comes to audio gear. I was doing research on soundbars that deliver good sound for gaming and movies (strictly bluray for superior sound). I kept seeing this Yamaha pop up in many peoples top lists. I got it because of the brand, price and it being only one piece.Setup was super easy. Unbox. Connect your soundbar to your TV via Optical or a special kind of HDMI cord that’s not included btw. I didn’t have that HDMI cord but thankfully this thing will connect to your tv via OPTICAL cable.I tested this out watching PIXAR/DISNEY movies and let me tell you… this sound bar really pops off with sounds i never heard before. Gaming on my PS4 Pro sounds great. I’m hearing things i never heard from the built in speakers.I got two of these. one for my office and living room. I’m super satisfied with this soundbar and will continue to use it until i decide to upgrade to a pricier soundbar with subwoofer setup.

    Muted Sound
Easy to install, no frills, paired with my LG TV so that I could use the sound buttons on my TV remote or my Dish remote. Turns on and off with the TV, perhaps because I used a HDMI ARC connection. Speakers are on top so the sound goes up and fills the room. Clarity is better than the TV sound.Often the sound is muted, as if coming through foam, but it is not.Smal hic up. The bar is about 2.5 inches tall and blocks the TV IR receptor. No biggie. I moved the bar to the side to clear the path. I may raise the TV by 3.0 inches and move the bar back to center. Maybe.

If you don’t know which soundbar to get, get this one
I read a professional review online that said just that. It had a list of about a dozen of the “best” soundbars and I was ready to do hours (or days) of homework to make the right choice. Then I came across that sentence near the top saying this one is good enough for the unsophisticated shopper (lol), and I agree. I’m no audiophile and probably wouldn’t be able to tell you the difference between this bar and one twice the price. It’s cheap and it works well with TV shows, movies, music, etc.THERE IS ONE HUGE NEGATIVE! The remote’s buttons are not durable. The volume buttons on mine stopped working after a week of use. The only reason why I kept it is because connecting to a TV via HDMI to an ARC/eARC port allows the TV’s volume level to override the volume settinb on the soundbar and, when connecting with Bluetooth, you can change the volume of that device independent of the soundbar.

The Yamaha SR-C20 Sound Bar is a solid choice if you’re looking to upgrade your TV’s sound without breaking the bank. The setup is super easy, and it delivers clear audio with decent bass for its size. The sound quality is a noticeable improvement over built-in TV speakers, making movies and shows sound fuller and more immersive. It’s compact, so it doesn’t take up much space, and the remote control is simple to use. It’s not going to blow you away with deep bass or high-end sound, but for the price, it offers great value. Perfect for anyone looking for an affordable sound bar for better TV audio.

Tamanho definitivamente não é documento. Embora compacto, a potência desse soundbar impressiona. O subwoofer integrado dá conta do recado e a integração com TV (via cabo óptico) e Amazon Echo (via bluetooth) é simples e eficiente.

I got this soundbar for my smallish living room after reaching and watching reviews from multiple sources.. n I am a happy man to have chosen this.Delivery: prompt and safe with original packingBuild quality is premium with mesh cloth cover and touch buttons on top floor volume and on/off buttons.Sound: i was a bit skeptical about the bass output since it is so compact. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the sound and the bass. I found the bass extension option a bit unnecessary since it diminished the over all sound quality. The different modes work perfectly well as they are meant to.Connect using the ARC port for the best output.Cons: no option to add an external sub woofer

Have high-end gaming PC and usually use headphones. I decided to add on speakers, however, due to limited desktop space choices are very limited. Started out with Razer Leviathan and it just didn’t. live up to my expectations. I then tried the Steeleseries Arena 7 and they sounded very good, but wee way to big… A friend of mine has a Yamaha sound bar on their TV which I really liked. So after looking into the Yamaha soundbars I decided to give this one a go. I have no regrets the sound quality, build quality and compact size fit the bill perfectly… For the money I paid for this speaker there is nothing else that comes close to this speaker for gaming!!!(PS I bought the non sub version and have absolutely no regrets for not buying the sub version)

I was looking for a desk speaker, to replace my Bose speakers. I wanted a compact sound bar. The sound bar is compact, but sounds amazing. The remote didn’t worked, battery needs to be replaced. But I was able to use the remote app from mobile. I found it convenient to use the mobile remote app.The audio is clear, clear text really works well. Will experiment more.
