Satisfied in Miami
Yamaha is an outstanding manufacture biggest bang for your buck considered the Roland 60 X but this model DGX 670 just offers more features and stability and I think it looks pretty nice. Keypads are laid out in a logical way. The instrumentation.

Not your Fathers’ Yamaha
Have a been a big fan of ‘Yamaha Portable Grand’ for over 15 years and have owned 4 of them from the 500 &600 series models. The quality of sound and ease of recording is unbeatable. I play professionally and believe its one of the best sounding instruments out there. Recently bought the DGX-670 model and wasted no time packing it up in the box to return. The keyboard felt cheap and the sound reminded me of a child’s Casio keyboard. The software has been changed and has more bells and buttons on it than the average person will ever use or be able to figure out. If you have copied recordings to flash-drive made on a DGX660, they will sound like crap on the DGX-670. Didn’t even get into it, but the old ‘user friendly’ 6-track recorder of the 660 has been replaced by what looks like a 15 track nightmare. In my opinion they have traded technology for quality and if you can get your hands on a discontinued DGX-660 before they disappear you will be far happier. I just ordered one myself!
