This works great with my Alesis electronic drum kit.Needed it to take weight off the main drum kit frame. This holds the snare really well, even though it is only 18″.Quality is fine, easy to set up and love the drum stick holder!!Recommend.

Great Stand for a Practice Pad
I bought this to hold my practice pad – and this is a great stand for that. I use it to while sitting on the couch, watching TV. The stand adjusted to be the perfect height for that, and is smaller than my kit snare stand, so it hides in corners fairly easy. As others have noted, this stand doesn’t extend very high, so you definitely need to sit down. I also wouldn’t really want to use this for an actual snare drum – it’s just too small in my opinion to be sturdy and work. But, as a practice pad stand, I can see this lasting forever and is perfect for that.

Great stationary snare stand
This works awesome for holding my in-studio snare. It does feel a little more economically made than a “higher end” stand, but it will hold a stand and is perfect for my use, as the snare it holds stays in my studio full time. In other words, as I’m not constantly setting up and taking down this stand, I know the parts won’t wear or loosen over time. So, if you’re like me and just need a stand to hold your snare in place, and you’re not touring or needing to set it up and tear it down over and over again, there is no reason not to get this stand. The including stick holder is a nice bonus.

Small and Lightweight didn’t come with stick holder
very lightweight and light duty stand. Works fine enough for smaller drums, maybe kids. Perfect for a practice pad but not tall enough for me (adult 6’3″) even when sitting. Didn’t come with the advertised stick holder.

Just got this for an inexpensive drum for a child that the stand had broken on. this stand is waaay better and very reasonably priced for and inexpensive drum Would work of course for more expensive also but I am no expert on what to look out for

I wanted a portable stand for my tongue drum to throw in a backpack. Sturdy construction, light weight, does the trick nicely. Not very tall, but like I mentioned, I don’t use it for a snare, so I have wiggle room.

It does the job for 10 and 14 inch snares but if using on electronic kit insert a piece of pipe 8 inch and will give extra height as electronic snare are 2 inches but I love it recommend
