A great tool in a compact size.
I am speechless.This gimbals makes the work so easy when it comes to film on the go.Just an advice: watch a youtube tutorial of how to balance it, since the instruction manual is a little bit hard to understand. Keep practicing balancing the gimbal, and you’ll get the hang of it quicker.It charges quick and the battery life lasts so long.Recommended tool.

Easy to use but doesn’t last
UPDATE: Unit no longer functions and won’t charge. Some google research show this is a common problem with this unit, so I cannot recommend it at all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I used it exactly two times. Every year I do a huge Halloween show and I put it on YouTube to share with all the fans that can’t make it Halloween night. I bought this gimbal to increase the production quality of the video. I was very pleased with my results, but I really don’t have much need for it the rest of the year, so I’m sad I’m stuck with a beautiful paper-weight now with a fancy case. Why does my expensive camera gear still work perfectly 5 years on, but this can last even two years?[Previous Review]The stabilizer arrives so well packed. It comes in a fancy, solid clamshell foam enclosure inside a box, inside a box. Once out of the box, I pulled up one of the many YouTube videos showing how to set it up and had my camera connected within minutes, However, it needs to be ‘balanced’ in order for it to work as advertised and getting the unit perfectly balanced with the camera on it took quite some time. Sometimes, adjustments were sub-millimeter, which can be difficult to do manually. But after a lot of fiddling around I finally had it nicely balanced, as required for proper operation. So, I turned it on and played with it for a few hours over the intervening week. Its works exactly as advertised, but it takes some time to get good at controlling the camera in a way to make the shots work. Such as keeping a subject centered in a moving shot is actually quite difficult and takes time to learn how to do. There are a lot of nice controls in the menu that allow you to customize how the stabilizer works, and its fairly easy to understand what they do, but still mastering the moves that make a really nice shot will take time. My only complaint, and maybe this is user error, but I had a fair number of shots messed up when the unit would suddenly jerk to the side. I’m not sure if it was something i was doing, or a problem with the device’s setup, but overall, I was able to capture a lot of really nice shots that would have been nearly impossible to do handheld.

Nice gimbal
This is a very well made gimbal. Excellent fit and finish. It is easy to set up and it works smoothly.Left handed people may have a little trouble at first with the controls on the side but my friend who is left handed got used to it fast. I am right handed so the controls a perfectly placed for me.It looks as though the vendor cares about their customers because I got an email inquiring if everything isOk. That is a good sign!

A high quality gimbal with a few issues.
I’ve used Zhiyun Weebill gimbals for a few years now so I was excited when this gimbal was released. I bought it straight away and have been using it now for a few months. Although I still think this could be a good gimbal after a few software updates, at the moment it has some issues.Positives:+ The motors are stronger and it definitely seems to hold more weight than the Weebill S.+ The screen is really easy to use and change the settings on.+ The extra tripod thread for underslung mode is still a great addition.+ Locks for each axis so it’s really easy to balance.Negatives:- Battery is now in built so you can’t remove it. It also won’t last longer than a day of shooting.- Some software issues like vibration at high motor strengths and being unresponsive to setting changes.Most of this is fixable with software so after an update that fixes these issues, if you’re happy with the weight then it’s still a very capable gimbal.

Very impressed with this gimbal!
The Weebill 2 is the 3rd gimbal I have owned from Zhiyun, among many other camera gimbals and stabilizers I have owned over the years. The Weebill 2 is by far, my most favorite one! More recently I have been using the Weebill S as an “on the go” setup, but I needed something that could handle more lens options, and also have more features than your traditional gimbal. Such as the flip-out touch screen! It is amazing for utilizing the features and settings of the Weebill 2 without using your phone. Setting up time-lapse and motion-lapse keyframes is easy with the touch screen monitor, something that would take me longer to set up on another gimbal. Overall, the build quality is very nice, and I look forward to utilizing this gimbal with my filmmaking.

Ya le he dado unos tres o cuatro usos, profesionalmente hablando, con clientes y el resultado ha sido excelente. Lo estoy usando con una GH4 y un motor de enfoque manual. Puede resultar un poco pesado si lo cargas con muchos accesorios, pero nada que un poco de gimnacio no arregle =)

Battery stop working and will not accept a charge.
Loved it while it worked. Now, it is a paper weight. The battery is dead and it will not accept a charge. This is way to expensive a piece of equipment for that to happen so quickly. If you do a quick scan on youtube you will find out this is a common problem with this steadycam. I would not recommend you buy this steadycam with built in batteries. Look for ones with batteries you can replace if they go bad.
