Do yourself a huge favor-try this device.Who knows- maybe British tv productions will become intelligible

Great Improvement Over TV Speakers
As a person with diminished hearing, I was hopeful this soundbar would help me better understand the dialogue on television programs. It was very easy to set up, and the directions for use were clear. What a difference this soundbar makes!! I can now more easily understand dialogue without cranking the volume up to jet takeoff level. The soundbar directs all of the sound straight at the viewer and allows you to make small adjustments to make voices easier to understand. Highly recommended.

very good (bit metallic) clear voices
very good (bit metallic) clear voices: does exactly what it claims.LOVE the clear confirmations upon changing settings (volume levels)however, some folks may find the sharpened voices a bit metallichave had it only a few dayswe’ll update if it ‘breaks’ and/or performance drops

Amazing speaker for TV dialogue
I have owned a Bose soundbar for several years. It had really good quality sound for music and dramatic effects, but not very good quality for dialogue. As my hearing quality has gone down I decided I needed to look at a soundbar that focused on speaking quality. The ZVOX soundbar is truly AMAZING! It was quick and easy to setup and then experiment with the various settings for what worked best. The result is a clarity of dialogue that surpasses all of my expectations. I do not have to turn up the volume and the clarity comes through so that I don’t have to strain to understand what is being said. The other feature that I absolutely love is the sound leveling. With this on the commercials are now at the same volume as the TV shows. I also appreciate that the soundbar automatically turns on/off with the TV. This is a really amazing product and shows the company’s focus on sound clarity. I strongly recommend the ZVOX soundbar for anyone who needs more clarity in the speaking on TV on streaming movies.

Works like a charm!
This sound bar not only emphasizes the voices so you can better understand the dialogue but also reduces the volume of the commercials! I highly recommend!

Broken and Defective – I suspect REFURBISHED products being sold âNewâ
I received the item fast. Awesome! Box was in tact but upon opening I saw the speaker grill was slightly bent and coming apart. Zooming in, you can see the inside of the speakers! I tried to push it back into place assuming minor defect, but it popped right back out. This feels more like the speaker has been taken apart (my suspicion). In testing the integrity of the unit, the speaker sounded great but it turned off three (3) times within first 45 minutes!!! That is NOT normal. Iâve owned many speakers and theyâve never turned off while watching TV. I connected via optical cable to my Samsung Neo QLED TV. This further strengthens my suspicion the speaker sent to me might have been refurbished. I returned the speaker… but do you ever get the sense returned products are just repackaged and resold âas newâ? This is illegal but experiences like this sure makes one wonder⦠I will contact Amazon to report this, as I donât believe the automated return system is being monitored for this kind of seller activity, though I could be wrong (shrug). This was my experience, Truth Unfiltered.

It works! Good, clear, voices.
I purchased this to gain a little more voice clarity in the flat TV sound. Previously I had to turn up the TV volume so loud that my spouse would complain. The voices were completely muddled because of the rearward facing speakers before trying the Zvox.It works! With this Zvox, the voices are very clear and I’m able to reduce the volume required considerably. It may sacrifice sound depth somewhat, but the clarity of the voices was paramount – which it achieved very well.I recommend it for people struggling to hear the TV program voices either because of old age or lousy TV speakers.

Great for speech clarity
I had one of these before with only 6 accuvoice settings. This has an additional 6 sound boosts. I like the boosts but donât love them. The sound boosts pick up background noises like shoes clacking. I only want voice clarity. The additional sounds are distracting. I found a combination of accuvoice and sound boosts that work for me though.

For the past year I have been struggling to hear the dialogue on TV shows. I know I have some hearing loss at age 68 but I hear just fine other than with the TV. The ZVOX soundbar solved my problem and I can now enjoy watching TV again. The installation was as easy as they claimed and the remote was very simple to use. You can adjust the sound clarity to suite you specifically because of the many levels available. I highly recommend this soundbar to anyone who struggles to hear the TV dialogue. The price was very reasonable and worth every cent.
Amazon Customer –
Loved the soundbar but after the 60 days experienced problems with the handset. Contacted seller hoping to receive a replacement handset as you can’t operate the soundbar without it. Received a response from Amazon advising us to return everything! However as it was past the 60 days I couldn’t do this and contacted Amazon who opened a return request which was closed by the seller with no explanation. Amazon opened a second return request which was again closed with no explanation. However I had been advised to open an A&Z request if this happened and was given an address to send back to ensuring it was tracked and insured. I eventually received a refund under the A-Z Guarantee. Loved the product and just wanted another handset. Be aware if you have an issue after 60 days the seller doesn’t want to know

This was a retrofit from an old Samsung so the install was pretty simple. Hooks up with an optical cable and power. Thats pretty much it. There were sufficient sound options for me to find one that helped me. I have compromised hearing and tinnitus so itâs all bad. Is it a full resolution? No. But it did help. That said, it was worth my time.

I have been unable to hear people speaking on TV with an accent, even with hearing aids.By adjusting the setting on the remote control to optimise each programme I now hear much more clearly. The sound bar was easy to set up, we just needed a US to UK adaptor and everything works fine.

My wife has hearing issues. Hearing dialogue in movie soundtracks is difficult because of all the background sound. This sound-bar has solved the problem. It has multiple settings which are easily adjustable so that the sound in every movie or video can be tweaked quickly to meet her needs.Set up instructions were clear. All necessary wiring and batteries were included. Manufacturerâs assistance is available. The sound-bar is relatively small, low profile and easy to fit into the TV setup. This is a superior product for the price, in my opinion.
