Hopefully, this will work out great because the ring solar charger for the ring video doorbell gen 2 crapped out after six months. We bought a 2 pack in June 2024 and 1 of them stopped working December 2024. Iâm hoping the electric direct to ring will keep it charged because the 2 tiny screws on the gen 2 are awkward for my fingers. The newest generation of the ring video doorbell is great! No screws if and when you have to recharge.

This thing doesn’t charge
After almost a few months, I realized that this charger does not work, it does not have enough power to keep the Ring charged, I worked hard to run the cable for nothing, check first before installing it and leave it for at least 1 month.
