Working great!
So far so good. Easy installation and working well. Good video quality and alerts. In use about a month so canât comment on battery life yet but very happy with product as of now. 68 year old grandma and able to set up myself. Only possible negative may be key to remove unit for recharge seems flimsy but havenât used yet.

A years experience with one clear winner!
I have never such an indebt review, but I spent a whole year going through doorbells. I will start from the beginning of my experience. I will list the 3 main doorbells I bought, Why I bought them, what I didn’t like about them and why I returned them and the refund process. This is what I was looking for in a doorbell. Also, I learned through out the process what was more important for my needs. It needed to be Wireless for easy insulation. Good night vision. Good AI detection, a separate chime for indoor, remote monitoring, a long lasting battery, Elderly friendly & easy to use, and one of the most important needs were budget. I didn’t want to spend a big amount on the doorbell, Then, spend money on a app, cloud subscription, separate chime, & Alexa. I was buying these for my grandparents. They do not understand having subscriptions for everything nowadays, but has to be easy to understand and use.EKEN wireless doorbell and Chime; Bought on February 13, 2023. The reasons I bought it were, said it was free and no subscription, indoor chime, and the price. After buying this one I really learned what was important and if things seem to good to be true they probably are, duh right. First off, the app is free to downloads but is not free after that. There is a monthly app fee and cloud storage free. Also, the app is a Chinese app. its complicating and not user friendly. I got notifications every time a car went by. it was annoying. I only could see the street. It didn’t show any of my drive but the very end. Only worked with 2.4 Wi-Fi. You could only have one indoor chime connected and it was not loud enough. One of my most annoying facts about this doorbell was I had to charge it every week! I live in rural area and I couldn’t imagine how soon I would have to charge living in the city. I returned EKEN on September 19, 2023 because it quit working. It would no longer connect to the internet or the chime. it was frozen for weeks. In the end I’m glad it gave out because it was really more of a nightmare and not free like they say! I paid $46 for this doorbell.Blink Wired/Wireless Doorbell; Bought on July 31, 2023. I really had high hopes for this one. This one was the most misleading, very vague information, and the hardest to get a refund on. This is not a wireless Doorbell. For it to really work with out an Alexa, google home or some kind of in home system you have to wire it. There is no indoor Chime. You are not told about Sync Module when buying. The app is free but cloud storage is not and you need locally storage with the Sync Module 2 and USB drive (each sold separately). I was not aware of this when I bought it. However, with out an Alexa I couldn’t even get it set up and use it and get the local storage later. I thought we could use the app like every other doorbell but with out the Alexa you will get no notifications. It doesn’t say when I returned it, but I remember them telling me after a non-pleasant- conversation to keep the product and we will refund you. If you are wondering… no, you can not take it home and hook it up to your Alexa. they disable it unfortunately , ðð¤£. I paid $60 for this.Eufy Security, Battery Video Doorbell C210 Kit, Wi-Fi Connectivity, 1080p, 120-Day Battery, No Subscription, AI Detection, Wireless Chime Included, 2-Way Audio, Remote Monitoring for Apartment Living; Bought on November 5, 2023. I waited till the doorbell died for the first time to write the review. after the first one it was really important to me for it to have a reasonable length in a battery! I charged it for the first time for a good amount of time. The first’s charge is always the most important on any battery powered electronics. It died on 2/15/24. The battery lasted 100 days with moderately amount of use. I am very happy with it. It does not take long to charge back up either. I am not getting a notification every time a car goes by either. The AI in the doorbell works really well on telling me when someone is here or when there is activity. Great night vision. One of my Favorite is it came with a free angle piece! so I see my whole driveway and street. The house is a normal ranch house so the driveway is ‘normally’ placed ð none of the other doorbells came with a angle piece and the insulation looks great. There is a piece it snaps in-to, so, no thief can run off with it and protects it from water. Moreover, ITs free! The app is free and the chime is also a storage device! The chime is loud and has more then one chime. I did have to buy a memory card for the storage. In the reviews I read it said It has to be SanDisk 128GB Ultra microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with Adapter – 120MB/s, C10, U1, Full HD, A1, Micro SD Card – SDSQUA4-128G-GN6MA. You can have a lower GB but nothing higher then 128GB. I have had no problems with it its just a basic memory card but works great with doorbell. I have had no problems with doorbell or local storage and chime. The app is super elderly friendly and easy to use. the company brags about being budget friendly. Eufy says, “No Subscription Required: Designed to protect your home as well as your wallet, Eufy security products are one-time purchases that combine security with convenience.” I have no complaints with this product. I had to spend more money with this one but because I don’t have to pay for a subscription, app fee, and cloud storage (storage is after the moment of doorbell going off being able to see it) I paid $99.99 with a $20 coupon. The memory card was $13.88. With doorbell and everything included, memory card, and coupon & tax; I paid $100.91.I Know this a long review, but if I could save someone a year of wasting time on doorbells I hope I can help!

Update: now works well, but don’t know why
UPDATE: Over a year in, and things have turned around for the better. Battery lasts a long time, close to or more than 4 months, and detection is what I’d hope for. It no longer gets set off by the tiniest of things, but indeed only detects actual human activity. It’s pointed towards a street and cars and walkers on the sidewalk don’t set it off. Only thing is, it just one day started working fine. I didn’t do anything to it or adjust any settings. So, I’m not sure if it was a software thing or takes time for it to settle in, but now works great but was highly inconsistent at first. I’ll update again if it decides to start acting differently again. So, updated my rating and for the price I’m still happy with what this provides. This has a lot of good things going for it, including great picture quality, easy to use app and installation, I like that I can store video locally but in the house (not in the doorbell itself which could get stolen), and it seems to be made well. However, I’ve never gotten to last anywhere NEAR four months between charges, and at times it lasted only a matter of weeks. On average, I’d say it lasts a month or month and half between charges, and I have it on very low detection settings (more on that in a minute). I emailed support about this and got a generic auto-response with typical FAQs and settings to mess with, but nothing more. It’s easy enough to charge and a month plus between charging is still worth it for me. My biggest complaint is that everything seems to set it off. I have it set to “human detection”, have it on the lowest of motion sensitivity, and have slowly scaled the detection zone back more and more but it continues to get activated by cars driving by or people just walking past on the sidewalk. It’s to the point I just ignore the notifications on my phone (the ones I still get as I’ve had to disable most because I was getting them every few minutes), and just check if anyone actually rings the bell. The first few months I had this, it did not get set off easily, but I don’t know what changed with it because it got more and more sensitive as time went on although I have only adjusted the settings to make it LESS sensitive. So, it does work well in some regards and is a decent price, but there are a few questionable things about it. If it broke, I would shop for different options.

Easy to set up and Good Quality
So easy to set up and the quality of the video is really good. I replaced my old ring and decided to give a chance to eufy and for now I am really happy with the features and quality.

This a great, high quality doorbell. Connected right away, clear picture. Very responsive. And it looks great. Itâs wireless with a solid Anker battery. I love that I donât have to pay 5$ a month for a cloud service with this one. SD card goes into the chime and records all door events locally. Why anyone would want to pay 100$ a year for cloud service is beyond me. Everything I have from Anker is solid. I donât expect anything less from this. And Anker service is absolutely awesome. They will help you with all adjustments, no need to return with Anker. If you see you have a lag, you routeur is simply too far from chime and doorbell. Just put resolution to medium. Itâs an easy fix. Looking over the doorbell events is easy as pie. Then just swipe to left to delete the ones you donât want. I have a lot of land so I donât need to adjust my zones. But if you find battery life is draining faster than you thought, put detection to human only and turn the camera away from the street. Also, very easy to adjust your view zones to lower unnecessary detections. Like I said, get in touch with Anker and you will love your doorbell. Local storage, I love it, no brainerâ¦â¦.

This door bell is super easy to install. The quality is great and really modernized the look of my house. The battery is great except it drained quick when i first got it because was playing with it do much. The video (1080) and sound quality is also top notch. I like that they have versions at different price points.Best of all, no subscription and your data is stored locally. Needs better integration with google home but that is more of a nice to have feature and the company was very responsive to this feedback. Overall i highly recommended.

We bought this because we wanted a lower cost security system. Initially, I thought the price was high, but if your buying this for yourself as a do it yourself system, then chances are lower priced systems are of lower quality and when it comes to do-it yourself security, you need it to work each time, every time.Eufy is by Anker, which for me, is a trusted, high quality, high value company. It was a no brainer. The battery needs to be charged once every 2 months in my neighborhood (I have a son who has lots of friends that are always at the door). However, I can see in less traffic areas, you qouls probably get even more than 180 days of life that the company says you will get. It takes 2-3 hour or so to charge to full, which for me is great. Only down side to this, and would be a GREAT benefit to me is if they integrated the video portion into Google Nest. They have it for Echo Show, but I don’t care for Echo devices (Feel they get things wrong too often, and I demand a lot out of my tech. But that’s subjective, and by no means a fact, just a preference). I also like the no fees, just pop an SD card into it, and hook it up to your phone and Bobs your uncle (Uncle Bob is a good man, or woman, or non-binary).One last thing, I’ve used many Anker products, and the customer service from them is nothing short of perfect. Fast responses and quick and decisive action by their customer sales people is worth the price of admission. Always buy products that their companies stand by!

We bought this unit for front door monitoring because we did not want to pay for a subscription model, and the positioning of it does not lend to using the existing doorbell wiring. The unit was easy to install, has good resolution, and works well with the Eufy mobile app. However, the claim of 6 month battery life is NOT EVEN CLOSE!After installing the first one, we simply left the monitoring on 24×7. The battery lasted about a week before it was surprisingly dying. We checked the battery saving tips provided by the company (e.g. minimize distance between hub and doorbell) to make sure that we were taking steps to optimize the battery life. However, after going through a couple of rounds of this with no battery life improvement, we returned the unit and purchased another, based on the assumption that we had just received a faulty unit (it happens). Anyway, the second unit was no better. We resorted to turning on and off the coverage to save battery life, but this is not ideal.I should add that we are not talking about a period of arctic conditions or anything that could provide a natural explanation for this poor performance. My advice is to get the wired version, but if that will not work for you, stay away from this product.

It works like it says. No need for a subscription (Micro SD not included, bought a 128GB) and easy to setup and install. 3M taped it to my door and it isn’t going anywhere. Only had it for a month now so still to be seen when colder weather kicks in but so far it works great. Glad I made this choice over the dozens out there.
