Very nice cup holder for my phone

Good overall construction, secure, minimal wobble, custom fit and phone viewing angle
All the parts of the product- the base, cupholder, arms, and phone holder are constructed solidly and well-thought-out. The base, with the custom fit adjustment and rubber padded extenders is intuitively designed to securely fit practically any vehicle center cupholder and without doing damage.The phone holder arms provide a range of viewing angles and the wing nuts securely prevent wobble. The phone holder itself will hold any size phone with an adjustable bottom that can extend for longer phones. The side phone holder clamps have a micro-click to customize to any width of phone. Lastly, the ball nut behind the phone holder enables even more custom angles for perfect viewing.

Starting with the good:This is not a bad product, and it does what it was designed to do. It is widely adjustable to get the phone into the position you want, and the bottom part locks into car cup holder securely. Getting the phone holder while still having both cup holders available is great!However, there are a couple design issues that constantly annoy me and are the reason for the 3-star rating:- I don’t like the rubber ‘tongues’ that hold the beverage container in place in the holder. I understand they’d like to be able to cover a wide range of cup sizes, but at almost $40 they need to come up with either adapters or size options. Every single cup holder I ever had came with a better design than this!- The bottom ‘wedge’ that holds the bottom of you phone does not have a strong retention in the holder. Every time I open the holder and put in my iPhone the weight of the phone pushes the bottom holder down to its lowest setting. Unfortunately, if I leave it there and close the two side clamps to lock the phone in place they are exactly at the height of the control buttons on the iPhone and activate them. Super annoying!Overall not a catastrophic product – it does what is was designed to do, and depending on your aesthetic preferences and phone type it might work very well for you.Because of the annoying details above unfortunately it was a bit of a letdown for me, and given what I feel is a pretty hefty price I’d probably not get this again.

Arrived missing two crucial parts unfortunately
The package arrived missing two parts: the gooseneck that attaches to the phone bracket; and the screw that attaches the cup holder section to the adjustable bottom part you insert into the car’s cup holder.So unfortunately I cannot accurately review the function of the product. The parts I did receive looked strong and durable but there’s no way to tell if the product would hold up without actually using it. Just the missing parts was enough to not give me great confidence.
