American Airways Airplane Catches Hearth in Denver, Passengers Evacuated

An American Airways airplane caught hearth at Denver Worldwide Airport on Thursday.

The Federal Aviation Administration mentioned in a press release that American Airways Flight 1006 landed safely in Denver after the crew reported “engine vibrations.”

“After touchdown and whereas taxiing to the gate an engine caught hearth and passengers evacuated the plane utilizing the slides,” the FAA mentioned.

The Boeing 737-800 was en route from Colorado Springs Airport to Dallas Fort Price Worldwide Airport.

The airline mentioned in a press release that Flight 1006 “skilled an engine-related difficulty” after touchdown and taxiing to the gate.

“The 172 prospects and 6 crew members deplaned and are being relocated to the terminal,” the assertion mentioned.

A feminine passenger described smelling a “bizarre burning plastic scent” to CBS Colorado, saying that “everyone then began screaming and saying there was a hearth.”
