I bought this as a replacement for the last ring light I had given my husband. The cord of the last one mysteriously got sucked up into the vacuum. This one is an upgrade, itâs larger and has a rechargeable battery. No hanging cords!He loves it! He says the lighting options are better, the remote works well and itâs perfect for his needs as musician and teacher. I couldnât be happier with the 12â Ring Light by QEUOOIY. Arrived in a basic box, well packaged with all parts wrapped individually. Instruction manual wrote in multiple languages.Fairly easy set up, had the whole unit set up in roughly 10minutes. It arrived partially charged. In order to provide as much info to you. I went ahead and charged for the recommended 118minutes in order to get a full, complete charge.The included 24W DC Charger is sturdy with approximately 8foot of cord. A nice addition for those times you need to use the ring light and meant with the dreaded dead battery. So far though, I will add after several hours of use over the past week or so, itâs holding the charge well and as indicated. A welcome change from my old, broken one. It required to be plugged in for use.The included remote will take you through multiple light settings. It indicates a range of 30 to be exact. With 3 color temps, each at 10 brightness levels. When clicking through slowly, itâs noticeable. But for my needs warm to cool, bright to dim works just fine. Power on and off works as expected. Remote is small and slim. Easily keep handy in your pocket or held in hand depending on use.Tripod is great! Extends upwards to about 6.5 feet. Keep in mind that includes the 12â ring light. Plenty tall to get the job done. The base extends at a wide range. Providing enough stability to lessen any worry of tipping over. Height adjustment is straightforward, several little screw knobs that tighten securely without issue to keep desired heights in place.The 12â ring light with phone holder screws on sturdy. It mounts with a standard 1/4â opening. Making it quite versatile, with functioning options on other stands as well.The phone holder extends upwards to 3.8â which is enough for my current large Pro Max phone. Performed well and stayed in place given my phone is also on the heavier side, as phones go.With provided 180 degree motion, additional tilt options. There is enough adjustment to provide lighting wherever needed.Lightweight, durable and fairly compact design makes this a winner for me. Would have been a nice little surprise to have a small nylon carrying case when on the go. But itâs all good, Iâm beyond pleased and happily recommend the 12â Ring Light by QEUOOIY.

This is so easy to set up and put away for self-tapes / auditions I need to film at home or on the go. I love that the battery is chargeable. I always charge it after each use or as soon as possible so that it is always ready for me to use wireless. (You can still use it plugged in, but I want to be ready to use it without any time.) Really really happy with this purchase. It is also sturdy enough for my Google Pixel 7 Pro. It can reach higher than me (I’m 5′ 7″ tall) and is adjustable. It feels and looks well made. I’d recommend this ring light to all my actor friends who also self-tape. And to anyone really who needs a portable, convenient, reliable, tall, and wireless ring light.

My new ring light arrived and I’m quite pleased with the quality so far. You can see in the pictures, the new ring light has a sturdy cord and plug on it. The 12inch ring is great too, and the stand is sturdy as well.As you can see in my old ring light, the USB cord has started to break. The wire is exposed, so it shorts out.Again, I’m quite happy with my new one and I think it will work well for me! Highly recommend and well worth the extra $20 or so for a real plug in my opinion. ð

I just got this ring light to up my selfie game (and maybe do some video calls that don’t look like they were filmed in a cave) and I’m really impressed with the light itself.Here’s what I love:Bright and Adjustable: The light is super bright and you can change the color temperature and brightness to get the perfect lighting for whatever you need.No More Cord Chaos: It has a built-in rechargeable battery so no more messy cords to deal with. Plus, there’s a remote so you can adjust the light without having to touch the ring itself.Tall Enough for Most Uses: The tripod extends pretty high, which is great for standing videos or selfies.One thing to keep in mind is that the tripod itself feels a little lightweight. It seems sturdy enough for the ring light, but if you were planning on using a heavy camera, you might want a beefier tripod. Also, it would be nice if it came with a carrying case for travel.Overall, I’m really happy with this ring light. The light quality is fantastic and it’s easy to use. This is a great starter ring light kit for anyone looking to upgrade their lighting setup for video recording especially if you need portability!The light itself is very nice and bright and can fully light a person in front of the camera without the need for additional lighting. You have the ability to turn the light on and adjust the brightness and color directly on the device or using the remote. Though, I found that you have more granular control over those things using the remote rather than on the device itself.It’s worth noting that this light doesn’t support the entire spectrum of colors. You only have essentially the full range of a white light color temperature from very warm to a cool white. What’s nice is that by using the remote you can really fine tune the exact amount of warm and cool for your lighting situation to create something very close to natural sun light. The light is very soft as well so you don’t need to use a diffuser.The stand itself is pretty nice and holds the light up without issue even when adding a phone with the included holder. The clasps are made of plastic though so you don’t want to overtighten them out of risk of cracking the plastic. The stand also compacts down to be very small for easy portability too.While the battery only lasts about 80 minutes at max brightness on a full charge you can continue to use the light while its plugged in. And it includes an actual power adapter that plugs into the wall rather than just a USB plug like others. The remote uses a standard CR2025 disc battery.My biggest complaint with this ring light is that the battery isn’t removable/swappable. Which can hinder the biggest benefit of this light which is its portability. If you’re on site where there are no outlets and the battery dies, you have no other options short of trying to plug it into a battery bank that has a standard electrical outlet I suppose. Or…. simply buy 2 of these so you can swap them out, though needing to carry 2 lights rather than additional batteries makes it a bit less portable.Additionally, because the battery isn’t removable, this might not be the best option if your plan is to just set this up in a room plugged in all the time and never moving it. Doing so will eventually reduce the life of the battery to a point where it will eventually not even hold a charge. And that’s sort of the reason why you are paying a bit more for this kit over other similar ones is because it has a battery and gives you that portability. If you’re not going to be using this for it’s portability, why pay extra for the battery?My only other complaint is that there isn’t a battery power level indicator on the light, so you really don’t know when the light is going to run out of power until it just turns off.Despite these complaints though, I still think this is a solid 4.5 stars because the value you’re getting is decent and you could just get 2 of these to give you the ability to swap them out on site if the battery dies on one.
