i am honestly so impressed with these smart recessed lights the setup was really simple and intuitive the app is very user-friendly and i was able to get everything connected to my 2.4ghz wifi in no time what i really love is the ability to control these lights remotely no matter where i am i can adjust the brightness or change the color of the lights from my phone which is so convenient especially when im not at home the smart voice mode is another fantastic feature it works flawlessly with alexa so i can simply tell it to turn on the lights or change the color with just my voice itâs super convenient and adds a level of comfort that makes me feel like im living in the future the music rhythm mode is awesome too i love using it when i have people over or just want to set a cool vibe while relaxing it really helps to create an amazing atmosphere whether iâm hosting a party or just chilling by myself the lighting scenes are really fun too with over 42 pre-set scenes and the ability to customize your own colors itâs like having endless options at your fingertips i can go from warm white light to bright cool white or even RGB mode with millions of colors to choose from and adjust the brightness from 1 to 100% depending on the mood i want to create the group control feature is incredibly useful for managing lights in multiple rooms i can control the brightness and color of different rooms all at once which makes it so much easier when iâm moving from room to room the memory function is a lifesaver too it remembers the last settings i used so i donât have to adjust the lights every time i turn them on the price of these lights is another reason iâm so happy with this purchase iâve looked at similar products from other brands and theyâre way more expensive but these lights perform just as well if not better and the quality is top-notch theyâve really exceeded my expectations in every way if youâre looking for smart lights that offer convenience, great features, and amazing value for the price, i highly recommend these!

Feature packed lights for those who like options
I really like these 6-inch canless downlight. If you are familiar with this type of light, you know they are a much better option than old-fashioned canlights. They are much easier to install and have more features. They need no braces or support of any kind. Simply cut a hole in your ceiling and insert the light. Two spring clips hold it in place. However, if you really like the recessed indirect light provided by canlights, you may not like this flush style. It is different, but the light disperses in the room far better than canlights. As do most of this type of light, these come with a small junction box that you attach to your homeâs electrical wiring. The light fixture then plugs into the junction box.UNIQUE FEATURES:Dcvoltfield set these lights apart with the following features. ⢠Bluetooth gateway. All the lights link to this gateway which is connected to your wi-fi. This provides a stable connection for places where your wi-fi is weak. This set up is optional. You can connect the lights directly to wi-fi. The user manual is a bit confusing. If you plan to use the gateway you must install it first then link the lights to it, not your wi-fi. â¢Individual light or group control. ⢠Ring light. In addition to the main center light, these have a second light around the perimeter. You can control it separately from the main center light. See the ad pictures for an example of what this looks like. Itâs really cool! ⢠Remote control. Comes with a remote that can control all functions such as power, dimming, color change, grouping, etc. (Many others have DIP switches inside the junction box to change colors.) ⢠Voice control. Works with Alexa, Google, or Siri to control all functions. You must set this up in the Tuya Smart APP after you complete all the other setup.If you just want basic lights, there are more economical options out there. Good Quality, Easy Install
Our shop was impacted by Hurricane Helene, with 12 ft of flooding, so even our light fixtures went under water. Got these to replace the ones we had in the office previously. They seem just as good of quality as the ones you would get in any box store. I’m not sure how I feel about the wifi box in order for it to work with Alexa or Google (which I do have in my office), seems outdated to not have it integrated into the lights, but I’m not worried about it in my office, if it was at home I might be more picky. I have to be honest though I’m excited to try the colored LEDs to see what all the options are. I would only want to install them in a new build, I wouldn’t want to try to retro fit them into anything because of how the wires connect into the box. Thankfully that’s not an issue for us because everything had to be removed so it was easy and straight forward. But overall, they are exactly as described and once we get power back on I’ll be trying out those LEDs.

No More Replacing Blubs!
I got sick of replacing the bulbs in our can lights. It didnât matter if they were incandescent, LED or halogen. When I saw these I thought Iâd give them a try. Iâm so glad I did. They work great and look fantastic.But there are some important things to note:⢠Everyoneâs current can lights are different, of course. Some might require an adapter kit. Mine did not, but I did have to keep the original can âtubeâ to attach the ground wire from this unit to the tube.⢠The cutout around the can tube was still visible after installing these. The fix was to purchase some can light âgoof rings.â Not a big deal since theyâre cheap and easy to install. They look great.I donât really use the remote or all that fluff much, but it is a nice little fun extra to have the colored lights for special occasions or âjust because.â
