Works as advertised
Good action cam but with a few caveatsI’ve been using the Action Cam for a few months now, and I’ve been mostly happy with it. It’s a great little camera for capturing action shots, and it’s very durable. I’ve taken it hiking, biking, and even skiing, and it’s held up well.However, there are a few things I don’t like about the Action Cam. First, the battery life is not great. I can only get about an hour of recording time on a single charge. Second, the image quality is not as good as I was hoping for. The videos are a bit grainy, especially in low-light conditions.Overall, I would recommend the Action Cam to anyone who is looking for a durable and affordable action camera. Easy to use, affordable, quality results
Used this on an international trip that included zip lining and snorkeling. It worked perfectly for both. The quality of the videos and images is great. The case and various mounting options were able to accommodate all of our situations, including helmet mounting for zip lining. For regular use, I added a small tripod/selfie-stick combo that made it even easier to carry and work with.Just two challenges I need to work around.1. Functions are touchscreen, so when it’s in the hard case there are limits to what can be done.2. Mine seemed to reset to the default timestamp frequently. I think if you keep the spare battery ready and are efficient with changing it out, you can avoid this. Didn’t realize the issue until I uploaded my first batch into my Google photos account and saw things out of chronological order.

I have tried this camera just a few times, but it works as expected. Great video quality and all the additional things that come with the camera improves the user experience. I’ll keep testing it.

Inexpensive easy to use water sports camera
Camera took nice photos and clear underwater videos. Starting and stopping video was easy, but the screen was difficult to view with a snorkel mask underwater. The buttons are firm and its easy to feel when you’ve pressed them adequately to start or stop the video. Don’t judge the quality of the videos by the viewing screen. Clarity and color are fantastic once you display the media on a laptop of tv screen. Waterproof case was solid and completely water tight. Even brief dives to 30+ ft. didn’t cause any leakage. Battery life was adequate, but have an extra battery charged and ready so you don’t miss any action.

Akaso Brave 4 Pro is a sweet video recorder / camera for action travel
Bought the Brave 4 Pro for our 2024 Galapagos sailing trip. Overall I was very impressed with its capabilities and price point (compared with GoPro). There is a small learning curve to navigate and control settings.Captured snorkeling video with and without the Dive filter (better with filter on) and with the optional floating mount. Also took video and photos on island outings using the 360degree clip to backpack strap. And yes, an accessories kit is pretty much needed.This Brave 4 Pro did not come with an SD memory card. I purchased a 128GB high speed (U3) Scandisk only to learn that the max memory size supported is 64GB. The 128GB does work in the Brave 4 Pro, but I suspect it only uses the first 64GB. Also learned from the instructions that video is shot in 4GB blocks. These memory facts were not mentioned anywhere in the Amazon description of the product.Used the WIFI mode to view videos/photos on an iPad using the Akaso GO app. It worked fine, but the app is geared for the iPhone and does not take advantage of the larger iPad screen size. I did not download videos/photos to the iPad (not enough memory). Also purchased a 1T SSD drive to offload from the Brave 4 Pro. This path requires a PC. It would be nice if the Brave 4 Pro could write to an external SSD drive directly.Likes:* Small size.* Lower price point.* 170degree adjustable viewing angle.* Operating battery time > 1hour.* Really nice video and photo quality.Dislikes:* None found to date (have not tried all the features like electronic image stabilization and time lapse).Surprises:* Max SD storage size is 64GB.* Video is taken in up to 4GB chunks.

Opção de câmera de ação com bom preço. Possui recursos que permitem captar imagens com boa qualidade. ConstruÃda com relativa robustez, acompanhada de diversos acessórios para emprego subaquático, corrida, pedaladas etc. Ãtima opção para quem não quer gastar muito com uma “top de linha.”
