Model Number: A8340; Anker USB-C Display Hub (4-in-1, 10Gbps); All Your Connections, One USB-C Hub

Unlock Full Potential: Enjoy crystal-clear 4K@60Hz video, rapid 100W PD-IN charging, and ultra-fast 10Gbps data transfer speeds, all housed in an exterior casing crafted from 75% post-consumer recycled materials.

The Key to a Clean Desk: Connect, charge, and manage your devices with one sleek solution and reclaim your workspace.

Plug, Play, and Power On: Designed for those who appreciate quick, effortless connections without the complexity of drivers or installations.

Effortlessly Link Your Devices: From upstream devices like laptops and phones to downstream gadgets like monitors and keyboards, this hub supports them all, ensuring smooth compatibility with major operating systems.

Notes and Compatibility: 1. No drivers or software required for operation. 2. Charger and cable are not included.

3. If you experience intermittent screen mirroring, delayed imaging, screen flickering, or an absence of display, please reconnect the laptop and restart the monitor. Often, a brief waiting period stabilizes the connection.

4. If connecting a phone, such as the Huawei P60 Pro, to a monitor triggers a cable error notification, simply confirm the prompt to resume normal operation.

5. If you encounter problems with the display not filling the screen when switching connection ports, adjusting the display mode to mirror or extend usually resolves the issue.

6. It is advisable not to connect mobile devices like smartphones or iPads to the full-function USB-C port on the hub. Devices like the Acer Chromebook Spin 311 may experience reverse charging due to specific hardware characteristics.

The Ultimate Desk Companion: Power your devices, enjoy crisp 4K media, and transfer files at speeds you never thought possible, all through a single USB-C port. Note: 4K@60Hz screen mirroring is available only via the first USB-C port. Verify device compatibility for high-definition viewing.
Connect, Charge, and Dazzle: Take connectivity to the next level with 100W input for fast charging and enjoy stunning 4K@60Hz display for the ultimate viewing experience.
Shift Your Data into Hyperdrive: Leap ahead with 10 Gbps data transfers—20X faster than USB 2.0. Move large files in seconds, not minutes.
Choose Compact, Choose Green: At just 3.31 × 1.85 × 0.55 inches and an exterior made from 75% post-consumer recycled materials, it’s your eco-conscious choice for reducing carbon footprint by half.
What You Get: Anker USB-C Display Hub (4-in-1, 10Gbps), safety sheet, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.

Customers say

Customers find the multiport hub functional and fast with no bottlenecks. It allows them to use more USB-C devices on desktops that only have type-A connectors. However, some customers report issues with the display port not working properly. Opinions vary regarding the power source.

    Reliable!
I’ve tried many USB hubs, both powered and unpowered, with mixed results. Some are a disaster, while others are just mediocre. Issues ranged from random disconnects to performance problems, or simply not working on all ports, often leaving me somewhat disappointed. But that’s not the case with this one. This USB hub is incredibly fast! It feels sturdy and worked straight out of the box. I’m so pleased with it that I even bought a second one for my wife!

Good, but doesn’t work after waking from sleep in Windows 11 (see fix in review)
This Anker USB-C is good overall, but I had an issue where it doesn’t work after waking from sleep in Windows 11. It’s “permanently” connected to my desktop PC. My other card reader/hub does NOT have this issue, so it seems the Anker hub is to blame. The quick solution to fix this is to unplug and re-plug it in.The permanent fix is to adjust USB power settings in Windows. In Windows Search, type “Control Panel” and click on that result. In the Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound > Power Options > Change plan settings (for your current plan). Then click “Change advanced power settings,” “USB Settings,” and set the “USB selective suspend setting” to “Disabled.”After making that change, it should work right away out of sleep.

    More than adequate data throughput
I have this hooked up to one usb-c port and is running four 4tb SSD drives. It’s more than adequate for my usage. No bottlenecking that I’ve observed but I probably don’t push it my drives as much as some professionals might.Good choice for someone who only has a usb-c port which is not thunderbolt compatible.

    awesome
powers laptop and my hardrives when I had to export and backup over 2 days of data at high speed. I get full read and write speeds thank you. cord is however too long, make it super short would be better for my MacBook pro.

    Doesn’t pass video
I purchased this to use as a desktop hub for a MacBook Air and an Apple Cinema display. The description specifically says it is a display hub. Well, it isn’t — video is NOT passed through the hub. Furthermore, only the first USB-C port supports Power Distribution (PD), the same port that is supposed to support video. So you would not be able to power your laptop if using the hub for display, which is the whole purpose of the hub.I generally like Anker products but this is a fail. No better than a $15 USB-C hub. Save your money.

For use with iPhone 15 Pro Max? I don’t think so
I specifically purchased this Anker USB-C hub for use with my iPhone 15 pro max. The description states it works with iPhone 15 so I thought it would. And I own other Anker hubs etc that work very well – so I went with this one for use with the one USB-C on the iPhone for video (capture footage on ex ssd as well as provide power for the iPhone, for starters through this hub). Surprisingly it doesn’t work. All the usb-c ssd drives work fine with the iPhone directly plugged into it (Samsung T7, Crucial x10, etc) but when I plug the this Anker hub into the phone, and plug in one ssd drive, sometimes it recognizes the drive and then when I run a test for speed (iPhone app) on the drive through the hub, it just isn’t there or says some error or whatnot. Go to ‘Files’ app and the drive doesn’t even show up there. So it does NOT work with the iPhone 15 pro max, astonishingly. I tried this Anker usb-c hub with my MacBook Pro and that works fine – but not my iPhone, for which I purchased it. 40 dollars, too much also as usually Anker produces good quality accessories and this thing is plastic, feels quite cheap and is not even close to another Anker hub I have here (but has usb-A and hdmi and ethernet with only 1 usb-c port. Or I’d use that one. BUT, I did try that hub and it actually works with the iPhone, but the speeds are a bit slower. go figure. Not sure if I’ll keep it for my Macs or just return it. Not as advertised, sadly.

    Expected better
Although it does what I want, give my Galaxy S21 additional ports while using SamsungDex on my portable monitor, it brings down the image quality down to 1080p, while direct connection uses full display of 2560×1600. Perhaps I’m being hard on it, and unreasonable, but still didn’t expect a quality drop. Also this can’t power the portable display even though I’m using a proper brick. But I guess at the end of the day, it does work, just not as good as I expected
