Another solid product
Well I wasn’t sure how this speaker would perform since it literally was just released but thought I would give it a shot. It arrived yesterday and was packaged perfectly. I unboxed the speaker and quickly noticed that it was larger than I anticipated and also had a nice weight to it. I plugged it in and quickly opened up the WIIM app. The speaker was recognized immediately and the setup began on the app. It took about 3-4 minutes for the wifi connect and updates and then it was ready to go.It sounded very good and had a nice full sound that was much better than any of the echos that we have. I tried several different types of music via Spotify and they all sounded great. I then linked the speaker up with my two other WIIMs (mini and pro) and they all played flawlessly. We have only had this for a day but so far the speaker has surpassed my expectations. For people that have limitations on space in certain rooms this appears to be a great option.

Love Wiim – Sound quality is par.
Relative to the Bose Revolve, the sound quality isn’t as good. With that said, the Wiim software is incredible and multiroom listening is seamless.

great sound. Works well with AirPlay 2
Very good sound for a small device. It supports a wide variety of wireless protocols. I use ApirPlay 2, and it works well with that. I position in different locations in my living room depending on where I plan to sit while listening to music. It is easy to move. It does a great job filling in the overall audio reproduction provided to two pairs of other AirPlay speakers.

This is a dedicated speaker for the wiim set up. Sound is good and it will not disappoint

Nice sound from a small unit. Bass is a bit lacking.
I was pleasantly surprised by this unit. It has a pretty good sound to it, however it was a bit lacking in the bass department. Overall for the price I’d say it’s slightly on the high side of what I’d be willing to pay for a unit with this sound quality. After unboxing, set up only took a few minutes, I followed the provided instructions. I installed the WiiM app. I’m not too sure exactly what it does as the instructions don’t really cover this. My first connection to the speaker was via Chromecast which initially worked ok. However subsequent attempts to connect to the speaker using Chromecast were a bit hit and miss, my Wi-Fi router had a hard time locating the speaker even though it was only about 30ft away. It had a hard to recognizing my device. Next I decided to use Bluetooth to connect and and it connected easily and without a hiccup. After looking at the sellers video on the listing, it shows that the WiiM app can adjust the frequencies and also adjust the room dynamics to improve the sound. This isn’t immediately obvious and I would recommend that the manufacturer includes instructions on how to do this on paper in future. The sound quality is pleasant and the speaker is quite loud. It looks like the high end frequencies emanate from the front of the speaker and the low end frequencies come out the sides, so positioning is key. I placed this in the corner of my kitchen ands the sound was great. The finishing touches on the speaker are really nice and the unit is tastefully finished in the silver and grey colors.Sound quality is pretty important when buying an external speaker, and I have to say volume wise it delivers, however quality wise, it’s a little lacking. I feel it needed to have more in the way of bass. I do like the different connectivity options and the fact that it came with a European power cord was a nice touch, but a bit of a waste, they would be better off releasing a European version of the speaker which would likely save them some money, as I’ll never use the European cable. The bass may be able to be corrected in the WiiM app, but I’m yet to figure that out.Other features I like about this speaker include the fact that it has a screw mount for a speaker stand or wall mounting bracket, and an auxiliary port to allow you to connect older devices that do not support Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.Aesthetically this speaker looks really nice and it will fit in with most modern homes minimalist designs. At time of my review this speaker is listed at 229.00, and in my opinion, I feel this speaker offers slightly below average value for money for quality of audio it yields. The speaker touts that it can be used in a multi room set up, and that is fantastic, however I was only provided with one unit so I was unable to test this.

Nice speaker
I’m not using any of the smart/multizone features, so I can’t speak to that, but it is a well made speaker with pretty good sound. There’s no magic to it, a speaker like this will never beat out a true stereo set of bookshelf/tower speakers, but this is ideal for a kitchen or other room aside from where your hifi setup lives.

Experience fell short
The speaker’s sound quality is a positive, delivering clear and pleasant audio. However, it lacks the power and bass response expected at this price point. The app (Android version) is a mixed bag, with occasional glitches detracting from the user experience. The need for continuous power is a significant limitation, reducing the speaker’s portability.

Wow
Wow! The sound quality on this speaker is simply incredible. It gets SO LOUD but you can hear every single sound. The audio is rich, crisp, and has a depth to it that you just don’t get with a lot of speakers. This is hard wired but you can stream via Bluetooth or Wifi and it’s integrated with the Spotify app already, so playing music is incredibly easy. Even for my bedroom, this speaker is almost too loud. I rent so I have to be careful with playing music or other media too loudly. I wish that I could go in and just tweak the bass, because even with the bass reducer EQ, it is incredibly loud. This would work great in a large space but it also works perfectly in my smaller space. I love the quality of this and the ease of use. Now do I love having to use an app to control this? No, but that’s how almost every single item is made these days. The app works well and it’s easy to link this with another AudioPro speaker, which allows you to play music throughout your entire home. I very rarely invest in new electronics, so I jumped at the chance to try this out. So glad I did. I find myself using this a lot and it’s even fantastic for playing sounds while I’m sleeping. Really makes me feel like I’m at the beach when I close my eyes. Very pleased with this and I know it will last for years to come.
