Great for Backwards Compatibility
Yes, Backwards Compatibility. I bought this drive as Iâve been with the Xbox family since 360. That being said the majority of my games are backwards compatible. I can store 3-4 x/s games on my series s internal drive. But when not in play I am able to store them on this new external drive. Overall a great solution vs buying an expansion card at 3x the price and 1/4 the storage. It really does not take long to transfer titles between drives. I have been able to play every Backwards Compatible game directly from the external drive

Just bought this a few days ago. Came in perfectly. I was wondering about the other reviews one guy said it sounds loud. This thing runs extremely silent more silent than my Xbox S. Thatâs a plus. Only downside is itâs extremely delicate just like all external hard drives. You need to read the manual it says to power the Xbox off by holding the power button 10sec not in sleep mode or instant on. Full power down before disconnecting. Then turn external off after then disc. I donât want my console or the drive corrupting because the Xbox tried to Quick Resume into the drive but itâs off. Things like that and there is no customer service as this is a Chinese company. Besides it being delicate it runs precisely as stated and itâs extremely fast. Best of luck to all! I would purchase!

This is good storage at a descent price. However if you want to play Xbox X/S games you still have to transfer your game to the internal storage. You cannot play Xbox X/S games from this drive.. this is a 3.5 HD not a solid state drive either. The title and info provided is a little misleading.

This product claims for the xbox series. X and s but it doesn’t work properly for all x/s games.
