Blink system is very easy to install in my home. Night infrared needs improvement as without some form of light the camera does not show a clear picture. In order to address this situation I installed solar lights around my home. Because of the quality of the night infrared I gave a score of 4 on the night vision. Highly recommend that if you are looking for a camera system for your home you should purchase this system!

Ease of Battery Replacement
These mounts are much better than the standard mounts that come with the Blink cameras. Make changing the batteries a âsnap,â since the camera can be easily remounted with the simple thumb screw without snapping onto the mounting base. This required considerable force.

Great camera system
Bought the addl outdoor weatherproof holder kits also. Very easy to install, had to reduce motion detection to 3 as every time a tree branch moved it recorded & I received notice about battery life. Works great now! Wish recorded night vision in color for easier identification of faces,, which blur our when close to camera.. Have 2 in back yard & 2 in front yard. I put 1 outdoor camera inside house so I could hear & talk, which indoor doesn’t have capability w/out adding addl product. Love the setup. Be aware once 30 day free monitoring / recording stops on 31st day & to continue to get videos you must pay for it. Annual charge for video recording seems reasonable. We’ll worth the money.

Blink sync module 2 doesnât fit.
Bought this specifically to hold my blink sync module 2 but wasnât aware that you need another cord to connect. The cord that comes with the blink sync module 2 is only meant if you have it just laying around. This mount does not support it unless you have another cord to connect.

This product is a significant upgrade from the standard mounting bracket that comes with your Blink outdoor security cameras. It provides a much sturdier mount position making it less likely for the wind to change your camera angle. It provides greater flexibility for the field of view with the 360 degree swivel. It also adds an extra armour to your camera shielding it from the elements. Very easy to install. Highly recommend.

You basically have to have the camera in the correct position before you mount it. It’s pretty much impossible to adjust the angles once the base is screwed in. When you try to tighten it up, the camera case will just turn out of position. Very frustrating. Built solid though. Good luck…………
