Amazing value for the money!
I am going to compare this to the JBL Flip 4, which is roughly 3X the price. This speaker isn’t quite as loud, and doesn’t go quite as low in the bass region. But – for one-third of the price, it does several things the JBL does not.For example, any hi-fidelity afficianado will tell you that speakers are the weak link in the audio chain. It is much easier to buy a good DVD player, or tuner, or even a record player, than it is to buy a speaker that doesn’t distort the sound. Indeed, most speaker makers won’t tell you how much their products distort the sound, because it’s embarassing. Usually, they quote figures around 10%.In this case, the manufacturer actually specifies that there is less than 3% distortion, from 20Hz to 20 kHz. That’s amazing. Moreover, you can turn it up as loud as it will go, and as loud as your cell phone will drive it, and the sound is not distorted! So I believe the distortion figure. I also believe the battery life of 16 hours. It just plays, and plays, and plays.It is about half the size the the JBL speaker, and a little bit wider. It has a handy carry strap, an auxiliary input, and even a place to insert an SD card to store a libary of songs.I played my favorite rock’n’roll songs from Spotify, at full volume, and they all sounded just fine. You won’t shake the walls in a regular-sized room with the bass, but you can easily fill it with sound for a party, and perhaps even louder than what you might want for casual conversation. Perfectly adequate as a living-room party music speaker.But it’s even better than that – it has an FM tuner built-in! So you can leave the charging cable plugged-in as an antenna, and pull in local FM stations for music, when you have no Bluetooth connection, or other music available. Moreover, if you have it paired with your phone, you can answer calls with the “PLAY” biutton, and the built-in microphone. Wow!The worst thing I can say about it is the printed manual is not very good. Pay attention to the box – which actually has a pretty good description of the buttons, and how to use them. Even if you are a little confused, once you play around with the buttons a little bit, you’ll get the hang of it, and away you go. I find myself playing music in places I never did before. Since it’s waterproof, you might even play music in the shower!The bottom line is that this little speaker is quite powerful, and plays a long time – loudly, without distortion. Even at the maximum power level, it is perfectly clear – not distorted. I can’t belive you can get all these features for such a low price. I really like it, and I think you will too!

Tin Can Speaker
I have a difficult time turning on the power button for this portable speaker. When it is on, it has sound, but the quality of a tin can playing without any decent bass. I’m not sure if this was a one-off defective speaker, but I’ll give the company an opportunity to prove me wrong and replace this awful speaker.

Loud & Handy
I with my kids use tablet a lot for learning different stuff with you tube tutorials and many apps. And there are many times we cant hear things clearly because of running AC or kitchen exhaust fans and our little one being just himself. I mainly got this to boost up the sound of tablet but its so much more useful. I can listen to lectures of my interest while cooking with deafening kitchen exhaust fans. Its great for on the go music listening being very light weight like while hiking or having fun in backyard. Its highest volume is pretty high and the charge stays for a longtime. Battery life is what makes any device worthy or not and this is worthwhile to get. I was skeptic to buy it and thought to take a chance. And I am not disappointed, so keeping it.
