IPX7 Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker, 40W(60 Peak) Portable Wireless Speaker with Subwoofer, 32H Playtime, Stereo Loud Sound, Deep Bass, Bluetooth 5.0 Outdoor Speakers with Handle for Pool, Beach, gifts

Not for hearing tests.
Bought this on a deal back in July. Didn’t even pay 59.99 which current deal with 10.00 coupon is offering. Took a couple of hours to charge. Turned on, paired quickly with S23. I can walk through warehouse and into office and it stayed paired and kept playing. Effective range, better than other Bluetooth speakers I’ve owned. My truck won’t stay paired at the distance this speaker will! I was expecting mediocre sound and volume. But was pleasantly surprised. Has great volume and excellent sound. Tons of bass response. For those self proclaimed “Audiophiles” try using equalizer on your lame phone. Probably wouldn’t know a good speaker if it hit them in their “Audiophile” heads. Bluetooth can only amplify the sound input. Good speakers with great sound, whether treble, midrange and bass will only sound as good as input signal. Adjust the sound equalizer on your phone to get excellent sound from this speaker. For it’s size, this speaker has excellent bass and powerful volume. Don’t crank to max and expect great sound. Not many speakers sound good cranked to the max. Does it actually put out 40w continuously with 60w peak. Couldn’t tell you. But sounds better and louder than my 25w speaker. Don’t care about colors, just want good sound when working on equipment. It’s been 5 months and speaker still works great. Good sound and paired quickly with upgraded S24 after tweaking equalizer on my phone. So, don’t hesitate to buy, as it really is a good value. Yeah I’ve seen the 1 star reviews. I don’t care what brand of any device you buy, there will always be exceptions that fail. There isn’t one manufacturer that a 100% quality/reliability rating. So, send back the lemon and try another and be honest in your ratings to help others.

RUGGED PORTABLE, WATERPROOF, VERSATILE, LOUD UNIT WITH GOOD AUDIO
Interesting, small, durable, powerful unit with very good audio from about 100Hz to15KHz which means reasonably suprising bass performance from a very small unit. As a professional recording engineer recording mostly live classical music performances, we bought one of these from AMAZON with next day delivery, for quick home use outside of the studio. It’s suprisingly versatile, waterproof, and can play quite loudly with minimal audible distortion for a long period. We suspect it uses a dual woofer system with an active oblong speaker and perhaps a mass loaded dummy driver for lower bass distortion at high volume levels. Really deep bass does exhibit some bass doubling distortion, but overall the output is clean… and did we mention it can play quite LOUD? The unit has a wide dynamic range capability from very quiet pianissimo to triple forte; quite loud enough to very much disturb your appartment neighbors! It’s also versatile as it’s both Bluetooth and Auxiliary Line input capable, and has the ability to power/charge other gear through it’s USB-A connector.Bluetooth pairing is very easy. And with it’s Bluetooth capability, it also can provide a mobile phone connection, but we don’t believe it has a built-in microphone, so just pair your smartphone into into Bluetooth mode with excellent audio! And did we mention it can playback quite LOUDLY?It does play in 2 channel stereo, although the unit’s size limits a wide stage playback. However, two units can be paired via Bluetooth to create a wider wireless stage, 2 unit stereo LOUD playback. We had one major concern when the unit first arrived partially charged: It’s rated for a 2.0 Amp, 5 Volt charger, but upon connecting it to a 2 Amp cellphone high speed charger, the charger grew quite hot and we were concerned about a potential fire hazard or at least a burnt out charger. Charging the unit on a lower capacity or fixed current charger seemed to overcome the potential charger overheating issue and the unit reached full charge in several hours out of the box; full charge time for a depleted battery is rated at 4 hours. AND THE MANUAL FOR THE UNIT RECOMMENDS FULLY CHARGING THE UNIT ONCE EACH MONTH TO MAINTAIN BATTERY LIFE. We haven’t tested how long the unit will perform on a full charge, but it seems quite capable to really deliver on well more than 10 hours playback time.Time indeed will tell how it holds up, but it does appear that early difficulties noted in the reviews have been resolved, and this “Made in China” unit is a great rugged performer for a reasonable price. So far, we’d recommend it for a quick setup audio playback system for parties, casual listening, and mobile phone speakerphone applications. We’ll report back on any future issues, should they arise.

Perfect speaker for getting the party started
