Great duplex printing feature
The printer was relatively easy to setup, with printer drivers available on Brother’s website. It also comes with a sample printer cartridge included in the box. The duplex printing feature is convenient and works well.

Holds more than a full pack of paper and prints crazy fast
This printer is REALLY fast and it also does double sided printing, which is useful. It says that it will do 50 pages per minute, but, I swear when I count off the pages, it does closer to 60 ppm. However, the most important feature is that it can fit more than a full pack of paper in the tray so you can print in high volume without having to refill as often. Another benefit of this is that you don’t have to gauge how much of the paper pack you should try and fit in a smaller tray. You just put the whole thing in and it’s fast. Definitely worth the price if these features matter to you. You can buy a wide variety of toners including some that are really high capacity (but these are fairly expensive).

Awesome Printer!
This printer is phenomenal! I placed it on a low profile printer dolly under my desk so I have easy access to it. I also added 2 additional paper drawers so it now has a 1500 page capacity. My last printer only held 250 sheets of paper and I was constantly adding paper when printing customer bills. Now this baby will last months between paper replenishment. It’s superfast even when using wifi mode. Hooking it up to ethernet will noticeably increase the response speed. As far as cost vs benefits. This printer has it all over other competing printers. I also like the feature where you can email an attachment directly to the printer’s email address and it will print it out automatically.

DO NOT BUY
Do not buy this printer. Yes, it is a decent price, and yes, it does a decent job printing. However, they have removed the option to override the “NO TONER” warning. Once this warning is displayed, it will no longer print. In previous models, you could override this warning, and continue printing. I could easily get another 2,000 pages with perfect print quality. And this was the only way to even come close to printing 8,000 pages from an 8,000 yield toner. If you’re expecting 8,000 pages out of an 8,000 yield toner, you’re going to be very disappointed. You will be lucky to get 4,000 pages. I have literally purchased dozens of Brother printers for my office over the years. I will now be looking for a new company to work with.

Very nice product
I don’t leave reviews too much but feel like Brother deserves one since they exceeded expectations.Very fast printer is the main point. Prints both sides, if you want that. Was able to set up both wireless and wired at the same time which was necessary since I work from a remote computer using Remote Desktop for work and that needs to be wired. The other three laptops share the printner in wireless mode and it works seemlessly.The quality of the print is much better than my last printer, too.Did I mention that it’s very fast?
