Printing from Windows is a Pain
This is a weird printer if you’re using Windows. I did not test this with Android or IOS, because I’m using this to print documents using a USB cable on Windows.The first issue I ran into is the USB cable. I wasn’t able to print anything using my usual data cable. I kept getting error messages, so I tried using the supplied cable, and it worked. I guess you must use their cable.You must download drivers from their website, and install it. Make sure you are using their USB cable, and the printer is plugged in and turned on.The driver doesn’t let me select the page I want to print. It’s always set to “all”. So, if you have a 10 page document, and you only want to print the last page, you must print all 10 pages. Also it defaults to A4, so you must change the settings to “letter” if you’re printing letter sized sheets.After it prints the last sentence, it stops in the middle of the page. It doesn’t scroll to the end of the page. Also, there is no button to scroll the page. You must open the printer, and remove the page. If you want to print another document, you must feed a new page into the slot. That’s a real pain if you have multiple documents to print. I rarely print anything, so I can put up with it.Is there anything I like? Yes, text is dark and crystal clear. Also, it accepts letter size paper. Some Chinese brands are limited to A4.This printer was quite difficult to rate. It’s a real pain if you’re using Windows, but it might be better if you are using Android, so I don’t want to skew the rating too much. I’d give it 3 stars if you’re planning to use it with Windows. As for print quality, I’d give it 5 stars. It looks as good as an inkjet, or maybe better, because the text is very dark. Like other thermal printers, it doesn’t print pictures well, but that’s expected. So, I think I’ll give it 4 stars overall.

Portable printer goes anywhere
I ordered this Thermal Printer for my RV business, and it’s been perfect for printing contracts when clients prefer hard copies over digital ones. It’s compact and lightweight, so it fits easily in the RV without taking up much space. The thermal printing is quick and clean, and I love that it doesn’t require ink—just thermal paper. The setup with Bluetooth for my phone was simple, though using it with my laptop required downloading a driver, which was a bit of a hassle. The biggest downside is that it only works with thermal paper, so you have to keep that stocked. Overall, it’s a great solution for portable printing when you’re on the road.
