This thing actually works
Iâve tried so many different phone holders for when I have to do GPS to go somewhere, and theyâre either down too low so I have to look down and take my eyes off the road for longer, or they donât hold my phone well enough, or they donât stick to my dashboard. This holds my phone that has a thick case on it, and held it in place. The rule around things obscuring vision while driving shouldnât be applicable here because when I have to look down at my phone thatâs in the cupholder, that is way more dangerous than this holder that hangs down from my rearview mirror, where I can keep my eyes on the road, head facing forward while glancing at the directions. It helps not having to turn my head to the side or look down. I almost rear ended someone while I was looking down at the cup holder where my phone was to look at the GPS. That close call was what prompted me to get this holder instead. Easy to install, and I only have it up for GPS, not for watching anything distracting. The rest of the time itâs in the glove compartment. If a cop pulls me over for it Iâll let them know this is the safest way for me to use GPS, Iâm sure itâs better than me rear ending someone (or worse) with the other poor designed holders out there.

Phone car holder
Iâve tried so many phone car holders in my life and Iâve been disappointed, but this one is the only I will go by forever, itâs perfect and it doesnât mess up the dashboard or the air vents. And itâs not in the way, and it fit perfectly on my rear view mirror and holds the phone just fine.

Doesnât fit
The item is a perfect idea, but it doesnât fit my rear view mirror. I have a 2022 Mercedes and the rear view mirror in the back is thicker not flat. Doesnât work for me.

Rear view Mirror Phone Holder!
I did not like that it did not fit my mirror. I have a Lexus and the rear view mirror was too big for it! Did not return it just gave it away!

Too hard to use with phone case
These contraptions that fit over the rear view mirror are super helpful for 1099 jobs like Doordash but this one doesnât give enough room to use with an iPhone SE 2020 with a phone case.Also, the part to squeeze to release the phone is behind and in the middle of the phone, which is too hard to get to

I had to make it work for me!
This is not meant for cars with thicker rear-view mirrors! It wouldn’t fit from the back, so I had to assemble it to go on the front of the mirror which obstructs the view and because it’s not meant to go on that way, It comes off easily! I just had to make it fit! Was a little disappointed!
