Compatibility
The wide variety of phone screen sizes and different image display sizes of VR applications resulted in different maximum viewing contents. For extended users to get the maximum FOV, the V5 can only rely on the most used cell phone (the iPhone X) to define the focal length and internal VR structure. To make other phones compatible with the DESTEK V5, you need to scan the QR code inside the V5 headset case to get the maximum FOV.
Some VR apps are no longer updated to match new phones
Oculus designed its own screen size， focal lens, and structure to bring the best FOV, and VR games keep updating to be compatible with Oculus.
Image quality: Unlike Oculus’ built-in display, which offers 4K-8K resolution, standard smartphones only have a 2K or lower display. The image quality of mobile VR apps and the resolution of smartphones are different and give you a completely different experience.
Not seeing the pixels: What you see on your phone may be crystal clear, but once you place your phone in the headset, the lens will magnify the image to fill the FOV. Improve the resolution of the cell phone and the resolution of the video to get a better image experience.

Amazing Experience! Fun!
Get ready for an amazing experience, people! This headset is good quality, easy to use and so so much fun! It was originally bought for the children but the adults (read: me and dad) are loving it. I had used a Meta Quest virtual reality headset at a friend’s house and was totally knocked out but felt that model was too expensive to buy for the age kids we would be buying for. So, I thought I would give this less pricey version a shot just to see if it would offer something similar and I was not disappointed. It seems well constructed and durable enough to withstand use by kids whom I would rather not have to monitor each and every time they play which is another reason I went with a cheaper set. The more advanced expensive ones can wait until they are older.For now I like that we are able to enjoy this one together and that it’s not just a “sit and stare” pastime. There is physical activity and interaction with other people.

Good Introduction to VR
This septuagenarian had long wanted to see what virtual reality was about but didn’t want to pay big bucks for half-baked technology. The Destek V5 headset provides an affordable introduction to the VR world by making the most of cell phone graphics.The headset’s fit and finish are fine, packaging and documentation excellent, but even with my new Samsung A35, the phone-based VR experience leaves much to be desired. While everything works perfectly, including the controller, the limitations of my phone’s graphics, the viewer software, and the available VR media quickly become apparent.Still, I’m grateful for the experience and heartily recommend this product to the VR curious like myself!

Would not connect too Bluetooth on I phone, when we think it did, images were on their side or upside down, field of view was very blurry, one disappointing Christmas present ð for my son.
