Great angel door mount
I ordered this mount because I needed to angel my ring door bell to make it have a good view of my driveway and this was the perfect product. It came with several different angel mounts to get just the right angel. It was easy to install and fit the ring door bell perfectly. Shipped quickly and was delivered on time. The angle mount is made of good material and appears to be a quality product. I can recommend this angel mount.

Love it!!Pros:Works exactly as designed with the Ring Pro. Multiple wedges included so that you can pick which one will work best for your situation. Quick and easy to install. There are no screws visible from the outside once the Ring Pro is installed so no one can unscrew it easily.Con:Not a huge issue but wanted to point it out. Install this first if you havenât installed a Ring Pro yet. The screw holes donât align with the Ring Pro if you already had it installed , so you will have to drill a new hole (s).

Uust what was needed, however I learned that the smallest angle platevwas provided with the model of Ring doorbell being purchased so only 2 of the 3 were differentâ¦kind wasteful.Imwould recommend buying/installing/testing doorbell prior to purchasing product just to ensure it would be needed for your use case. ð¤

It does NOT fit the Ring Pro Doorbell – it blocks the power connection.
This product does NOT fit the Ring Pro 2 doorbell. Even if you just screwed directly into the plastic (since the holes don’t even come close) the “window” on the chassis for the power run doesn’t match up. You can’t connect the wires at all as they are blocked. Nor can you try and connect the wires first and attempt to force it. This company can’t even put holes in plastic properly. And they KNOW it doesn’t fit – it’s impossible them not to know, yet they sell it anyway. I guess people just figure it’s only $18 so they won’t worry about it, but I’ve already gotten a refund and am dropping off at UPS.

Ring Pro installed using same holes in wall as Ring Pro
I wanted to use the existing holes in my wall and I was able to do it with the 40 degree wedge. You have to drill holes at the very top & bottom edge and then slightly angle the Ring screws. Get both screws started then tighten. Note that you need to shift the doorbell slightly away from the door facing side to clear the holes for the doorbell. Use the Ring screws to install the wedge to the wall, but do not use Ring screws to attach the doorbell to the wedge as they are too big. Use the 12mm screws included and get them started before tightening.

A solid product that can and should be designed and manufactured to tighter specs
I used the 40 degree bracket. It was well designed, but slightly lacking in manufacturing execution. I felt the doorbell should fit into the bracket in a way that would give an essentially seamless transition from the bracket to the doorbell. Two things prevented that. The first was the sockets that the doorbell screws into were not recessed to allow the doorbell to fit into the bracket properly. Second, the top and bottom of the bracket did not have a recess that would allow the doorbell to fit into the bracket. I was able to modify the bracket to achieve the transition from bracket to the doorbell trim cover, but I felt it was something that should be part of the design process and manufactured properly.

Works as needed, very long cordI did not have proper power running to my existing door bell.With my saw I was able to open the wall and wire in a power outlet and plug this in.Well worth the money.

Using this adapter to power a Nest doorbell. Easy to install and has been working well for the past couple of weeks. A lot cheaper than having an electrician install a transformer and easy to replace if it fails.

This is the second unit I’ve ordered, I’ve installed 3 ring pro door bells and I have enough parts left over to install two more if needed. They are solid units with lots of room for a little extra wire to make connecting the wire easy.
