Fun to fly but has a few problems
This is a toy-class drone, with some better than average things going for it but also some worse than average things against it.tl;dr: it’s fun to fly but the camera, app and controller arenât greatThe good points: it flies well, lots of fun. It does flips but the flips get old after a while, the real fun is flying fast in big circles or figure 8’s or a long racetrack-style oval. It’s easy to control in speed one and pretty spiffy in speed 3. You get two batteries and each provides about 10 minutes of time in the air, better than many drones in this price range. It has bright, easy to see lights on the front and back which help with orientation, and they flash when the battery is low and it’s time to land. The motors are brushless so you have plenty of power. The bad points: The light on the tail of the drone cycles through rainbow colors and it’s kind of pointless, I’d rather it just stay red. Most drones in this price range come with detachable prop protectors but this one does not. The camera is blurry and awful as you can see from the attached pics. The controller is TINY and adults will feel cramped, but for kids it’ll be ok. You can fly without the phone app but cannot take pics or videos, which is fine with me since (a) the pics are poor, (b) the app has numerous problems. The app problems are: the virtual on-screen joysticks do nothing. The icons to pan the camera up and down light up and act like the camera is being moved but the camera doesn’t move (the camera can be panned up and down using the buttons on the controller). Worst of all, when you take a picture it gets saved to your phoneâs camera roll but when you take a video it gets saved to someplace inside the app and you have to use the appâs gallery menu to find it and then export it to your camera roll. And that isnât documented anywhere. So if you want to fly for the fun of flying, this is an OK choice although I think you can do better for the money. If you want good pics or videos look elsewhere but be prepared for sticker shock, a drone that takes good-quality pics and vids will be costly. If you are just starting out with drone flight and are in the US, don’t fly until you get your FAA TRUST certification (which is super easy, google FAA TRUST to learn how)

Drone
This is a powerful little thing. Itâs tiny. Smaller than my cell phone. Photo shows the drone with my cell on top to show the size. But it packs a lot of power. The instructions are somewhat easy to follow but a tuall and complete control takes time. Itâs a very durable and well made little thing. While learning to fly it, Iâve crashed it at least 3 times and there was zero damage. It comes with extra blades and a two batteries. The remote control uses batteries. I would suggest this for adults and older kids only. As small as it is, it can still do damage. I accidentally didnât move my fingers out of the way fast enough and they got caught in the spinning blades. Painful which is why I strongly suggest not allowing small kids to play with it. I havenât tried the camera feature yet.

Great for beginners
Great drone, comes with a storage case and extra propellers. Easy to get going for starters but still you need to practice as controlling the drone is not that easy. You can use your phone as a display to see what the camera on the drone is showing and you can record it. Only issue I had with it is that the battery pack does not fit good. If it get hit, the batter comes loose and then you can no restart it. You will have to go to it and re-plug the battery, apart from that it works well.

For the price it is okay
The drone is def a budget friendly model. Maybe it is because I am a beginner but it isn’t very intuitive. I have had other drones at slightly higher price points and had a better time tuning them. The drone pretty much always has some form of drift i have spend over 30 minutes tweaking with the app in my garage to reduce airflow or wind affect and it doesn’t happen. The app gives a good enough use case when combined with the controller. As a kids toy it would be okay but if you are trying to actually learn how to fly a drone check some forums and find something in this price point that will work better for you. There def is something out there.

A decent quadcopter but with low-quality video
This is a 4DRC V28 Quadcopter with some very nice features. She flies very nicely, holds a hover with ease, and mostly impresses me.The body is small, slightly smaller than my palm when the legs are folded in, and she’s a bit light because of this. Not toy-lightweight, just not heavy enough to provide a good balance against moderate wind. The construction overall is solid, and joints move easily, but not loose. The brushless motors are reasonably quiet and powerful. The video is advertised as 1080p, but since it’s only able to be viewed via the app and streamed from the camera to your phone it comes in at a disappointing 640 X 380 resolution, at an egregious 864 kbps. Even at the 30 FPS the low bit rate means the video will remain muddy and soft, lacking any definition. Considering how well the rest of this bird is built that is a concern. It’s not too pricey and would make a good beginner drone for someone who may not be picky about whether or not they have HD video, so it is definitely a good consideration as a STARTER drone. The remote is uncluttered and easy to work, the flight characteristics are stable and solid.Recommended as a starter only.
