Great quality outdoor speakers! Get ready to enjoy!
These speakers are a deal! We’ve only had them installed for 1.5 weeks but we’ve had several T-storms and the speakers keep working great. The sound quality is exceptional for the low cost of these speakers. They’re not Bose quality, but they sound great for the back deck. We love them! We paired them with the Dual amplifier and get decent bass out of them. They could be a little louder but since we have neighbors, they are plenty loud for us, they just would never be able to knock the socks off anyone standing nearby. That being said, the sound carries well and is perfect for playing over a outdoor party or when doing yardwork in the back of the house. For the price of these, I would highly recommend and would buy again! I did not feel the hardware was cheap like some of the reviewers. I honestly feel these speakers could be worth upwards of $80 a pair given the fact that they are weatherproof and sound great.

6 years later and still cranking
Im using these speakers outdoors, under an overhang on my back porch. I have had them for exactly 6 years so far. They have survived the heat, the cold (I dont take them in ever, not for rain, storms, or even in our northeast winters), and they are still sounding good, but after 6 years the grills have rust on them – of which I would have expected them to rust much sooner to be honest. Since its sealed to be weatherproof, you can not remove the grills which I would do to maybe paint them, but since I cant I came here to replace them ONLY due to the rust on the grills. They still work great. However, as I was writing I decided to try a Mr. Clean magic eraser on the grill, lo and behold, it removed 80% of the surface rust from the speaker grill, back to the original color. Happy to say I dont need to replace them, but whenever I do, I will absolutely buy these again. I have over an acre and I can easily hear these speakers even at the back of my property. Are they concert quality with thumping bass? Nope, but they do a great job of getting the music across for my needs. Money WELL spent.

Good enough for the price
I’ll preface this review by saying that I previously worked for a company that did systems integration including audio. We installed hundreds of commercial and consumer grade outdoor speakers costing anywhere from $500 to several thousand each. Like any electronic device exposed to the elements after time they may fail and we often had service calls to replace them. While they were certainly better quality than these Dual speakers, spending a lot more money is no guarantee they will last.I purchased two of these Dual outdoor speakers for the backyard a couple of days before a party intending to replace them later with something better. After several years I have not felt the need to spend the money to upgrade them and I have just purchased two more pair so we can extend coverage of the backyard without cranking up the volume and bothering the neighbors. The sound quality is something between acceptable and good and the speakers have held up to being left outside through several winters. There are a couple of negatives which I have managed to work around:The grills rust. The grill can be removed by inserting a thin blade in between the metal grill and the plastic face and gently prying up all the way around. After doing this I simply repainted the grills with a can of rustoleum and stuck them back in place. They look as good as new.As other reviewers have noted, the spring loaded wire terminals on the back are very poor. Since I intended to replace them I didn’t seal the connection with grease or silicone and the terminals became corroded. Since the wires barely stay in place as is the audio will cut in and out if the wire moves. I soldered some short pieces of speaker wire directly to the terminals and then butt spliced them to the wire coming from the wall. I’ll probably come up with something better when I install the new ones.These were easy fixes but for the price of these speakers if it were something more involved I would have no problem just throwing them away and buying new ones every few years.

Good Enough
I bought these to install in a gazebo next to my pool. Easy install with well designed brackets that gave plenty of motion to adjust direction speakers point. They sound good but wish they were a little louder. Not realy the speakers fault as much as the radio feeding thm. I live in Socal so weather is not really an issue plus they are under a covering. No issue so for with moisture.

Great speakers for the price
Bought a set of these outdoor speakers along with a 39.99$ amp (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QRRQDDW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) I didnt buy the amp they suggest because this one was cheaper and had bluetooth 5.0.I bought this for my backyard to leave hooked up all the time so anytime you wanted music you could just bluetooth and listen, didnt need to charge any speakers. Hookup was very easy and the speakers are quality made.The little 100W amp I got worked great for these speakers, they sound amazon up to about 75% volume. After that they have the standard bass issue small speakers have, the bass breaks up, but that is ok. For the price they are great, very loud with the 50W per speaker Im pushing to them.Well worth the price, they look and sound very good. I might end up buying a second pair.

Worked great at first for the price. Failed 3 months, warranty is a joke
Bought these Duals to try to save a little money for my outdoor patio speakers. They sounded and worked great for about 3 months. Then, one of the speakers lost all mid/bass range and only had highs. I contacted Dual for warranty support and was told i would need to pay to ship the item to them, which would end up costing about $25 for a box large enough for both speakers.I’ll just use that $25 on a better pair of speakers like Yamahas and know i have actual legit warranty support if needed. In the mean time, ill just open the speaker up and check for lose wire, but was disappointed with this situation. Will not buy Dual again.

for 50 bucks these speakers are excellent. They are being used as front satellites on a 165 watt (Sony str 1040) amp. They really made a difference from the very small 3″ speaker that were there before. MORE BASS!!…I can also adjust frequency for each channel pair so that helped tune the whole speaker group- front mains, rears, front sats, centre and sub.These speakers with clean power will be worth your while…i was impressed. Super expensive speakers are frankly over priced. I like quality but these are good enough AND… admittedly would spend 200ish for that location speaker to have bigger magnet and more of a solid construction box. But now that i have heard these go…im not so sure. My amp is CLEAN power. Consider that.

The speakers were purchased to provide a better audio experience than my existing desktop computer powered speakers and they exceeded all expectations. Sound is magnificent thanks to the 3-way design. Also Amazon have been fantastic. I rang to report a small part was missing when the speakers arrived and Amazon has gone way above my expectations in resovlng my problem in a matter of days. Thank you Amazon.
