Sounds nice and clear
The headphones are a nice size and the materials are nice and soft. I was a little worried the material was too soft and would wear or rip easy. It was very easy for my husband to pair them, you push the middle of the volume button to turn them on. To pair them, you hold the bluetooth button for 3 seconds and it appears in the list. The sound is loud and clear, the volume can go way up, which could be a minus if you have kids using them, but great if you’re in a noisy area. They don’t make it sound proof when you wear them.Surprisingly, yes, you can use it for phone calls etc. There is a tiny little microphone built into them. We made a call and the sound came through nice and clear. There was a tiny bit of echo, but considering the microphone isn’t in front of your mouth and on the ear piece, that makes sense. These are a good buy.

Ok, But Expected better.
Already owning Edifier Bookshelf speakers that are the best thing I’ve heard, I expected these to sound better than they do. They sound OK, don’t get me wrong but you won’t mistake these for high end headphones (think 4 letter name that starts with a B). They do sound good for the price though. Sound is clear. They do have some quirks. You need to use a PC USB port for these to charge up properly. They don’t seem to like stand alone 5V USB chargers. If you have old man eyes like I do, you will need to scan the Bar Code Block with your smart phone camera to download the app and read the instructions on their site. The instructions send in the box have microscopic print which I could barely read even with a magnifying glass. The on/off and pairing procedures, while not difficult, aren’t intuitive. You will need the instructions.

Comfortable on my head and ears; comes with a charging cable; pairs easily.
These 32 Ohm, over-the-ear, black headphones felt great on my head. The earpiece not only bends to make the unit foldable, but they swivel too. It was easy to hear out each side of the headphones. The sound quality was pretty good. I donât think one hears the top range of treble or the bottom range of bass but overall, the sound quality was nothing to sneeze at. It was also easy to pair these headphones to both my phone and my laptop. It took approximately an hour and a half to fully charge this unit. The volume button is on the same side as the charging port. You do receive the following items in the box that it comes in: (1) instruction manual, (1) charging cable, and (1) pair of headphones. The battery seemed to last well throughout a couple of days. The sound quality, per the person I called, was great. They understood me clearly and concisely. I had no problem understanding what they were saying either.I liked these headphones. They fit well on my head, sounded great, were easy to pair with my devices, and held a long charge. I would recommend them.

for users who prioritize comfort
The Edifier Atom Max headphones present a compelling package with their focus on high-resolution audio, active noise cancellation (ANC), and a long battery life. On paper, they tick a lot of boxes for the modern headphone user. However, a few quirks prevent them from being a slam dunk. The Good:Comfortable Fit: The Atom Max headphones excel in comfort. Even during extended listening sessions, they remain relatively comfortable, making them suitable for long commutes or workdays.Solid Sound Quality: The headphones deliver impressive sound quality. While not specified, the term “Hi-Res Audio” suggests a detailed and nuanced listening experience, aligning with what we’d expect from a respectable set of over-ear headphones.Long Battery Life: With a claimed 45 hours of playtime, the Atom Max offers excellent endurance. This means you can go for days without needing to reach for the charger.Modern Features: The combination of Bluetooth 5.4, AI call noise cancellation (which was not explicitly reviewed, but a significant feature), and foldable design make these a practical and modern choice. The speed charge feature, though not elaborated on, also adds to the convenience. The Not-So-Good:Slow Charging: The reported charging time of one to two hours is a definite drawback. While not catastrophic, it’s not the “speed charge” we might expect and could be frustrating for users who frequently need to top up their headphones.Unintuitive Buttons: A lack of intuitiveness in the button layout can be a real nuisance. This can lead to accidental presses, requires a learning curve, and ultimately detracts from the overall user experience.Overall:The Edifier Atom Max headphones are a mixed bag. They offer some excellent qualities, namely their comfort, sound quality, and impressive battery life. The inclusion of features like Hi-Res Audio and AI noise cancellation for calls is also noteworthy. However, the slow charging time and unintuitive button placement are downsides that prevent them from reaching their full potential.Who are these for? These headphones are suitable for users who prioritize comfort and sound quality for extended listening periods, and who do not need to frequently recharge or use controls while listening. If you’re not especially bothered by charging times and are willing to invest some time in learning the button layout, the Atom Max headphones offer a good overall listening experience. However, those who need quick charging and a user-friendly interface might want to consider other options.Verdict: A solid choice for comfort and sound, but held back by unintuitive controls and slow charging.

Comfort, style, and quality!
I have had brand headphones that were a pain to wear but these headphones are such a comfort. The tension is just right and the pads/cushions are so soft and comfortable around your ears, yet sealing your ears tightly for excellent sound delivery! The design in white is brilliant and the style matches the soft materials/wrapping so fittingly. The sound quality is very good, though I haven’t had a chance to test noise cancelation. Pairing is a breeze and this has been the quickest (subjectively) to find and pair! Note that the power button is the raised bar (==) between volume up (+) and down (-). This wasn’t intuitive to me initially so I had to read the manual to find that out. :)Very satisfied with the product build, style, and sound quality!
