    Rock solid.
Very well made. Quiet enough, although certainly not silent. Great product!

extremely Solid Piece of Gear – only wish it came with velcro tape
Arrived in a fairly flat box which speaks to it’s portablity. A few items rattled around the bottom of the box but they were all there. Seems to be extremely well made. Sturdy as a tank. I was concerned from the photos that the striker plate and pad were not vertical and would cause my pedal to overextend but when put together (no instructions but it is fairly easy to figure out), there is no problem. The sound isn’t silent but it’s mostly the thud of the pad and a little squeaking from the whole device. When wearing headphones, it seems louder than it actually is because of the ‘haptic’ feel it sends up your leg which is very similar to an actual bass drum. The only downside which I took one star off for was that it doesn’t include any velcro tape on the bottom to hold it in place. Just two spring loaded threaded spurs. My drum pedal comes with the tape pre-applied and makes it very stable against the carpet. I’ll buy some velcro strips for this bad-boy and it’ll be a solid 5 star piece of gear.Pros:Very Solid Well madePortableReplaceable Beater PadsCons:Doesn’t come with Velcro strips. – A Cheap fix

    No pedal
I’m new to drumming, and bought the 12” practice pad, and this with a pair of sticks under the impression this came with a pedal due to the picture.I believed “single, and double pedal” meant you could swap out the included pedal.Old drummers might know this but new drummers definitely would not since nothing explicitly states a pedal is not included.I’m not upset, just disappointed, and while the practice pad seems sturdy, and well made, it’s not what I expected. If you’re buying this then budget for a pedal, or bring your own – learn from my mistake. 🙂

The Perfect Accessory For Your Portable Practice Drum Kit.
The Evans ReelFeel Folding Bass Pedal Kick Drum practice pad is excellent. Although you have to take the time and care to insure that it perfectly comports with your kick drum pedal, once you’ve tweaked it into place it’s excellent. I use it with a “Tama Dyna-Sync Twin Pedal” and a (customized) “DW Go Anywhere Practice kit” including a “Evans ReelFeel” 12” practice snare pad, “DW 9000” series Hi-Hat and three “Yamaha” single brace cymbal stands with Evans SoundOff Hi-Hat and cymbal muting pads.

Works in a pinch or if you don’t mind having very little adjustments available
This is a basic standard kick drum practice pad. It does not have options for adjustments other than the height of the anchors. You will have to raise your beater if you keep it on the lower side as there is no way to adjust the height of the pad. As far as stability I have not tested on hard flooring or with a light rug on hard floor, but I have tested on thick carpet. It is always hard to get food stability on thick soft carpet with any type of pedal, however with anchors I can usually prevent it from sliding forward. However, because this lacks in weight, even with anchors on the practice pad AND the drum pedal set into the carpet deeply, this product still move forward significantly on me.In regards to volume; This pad is firm rubber with a fabric outer. It does feel good under the foot however it does make a fair amount of sound. That sounds is not really loud enough to disturb others, what I found is that it is the sound of your foot hitting down on the pedal and the vibrations of it going into the floor that are disruptive. There is really now way around this in many situations, and I don’t necessarily believe that is a fault of the product itself as any pedal and pd system is likely to suffer from this problem. That being said, if these are not issues for you and you don’t mind a little moving around with your practice pad, this is reasonably priced and will do pretty much what you need it to do.

AN ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE IF YOU VALUE YOUR DOUBLE BASS
I have been playing the drums for about a year and three months now, and one thing that has always given me trouble is my footwork. Sometimes, when you are playing the drums, you don’t always pay full attention to what your feet are doing. That was my problem, and I bought this in an effort to fix my sloppy double bass. Let me be the first to tell you, I spent a couple days with this thing and I can tell you that my double bass has improved significantly. I used to be completely inconsistent when it came to double bass. Now I am pushing 180 bpm and beyond (I’m still a beginner lol). Get this if you want to get better.

Not a complete bass drum pad
The bass drum pad only comes with the pad and not the folding stand as the description states. Pretty bummed.

Fantastic tool for a drummer.. my right leg went from being clumsy and heavy to super smooth and decently fast. Dw 5000 fits no problem and there’s not much noise at all.
