Truly a flagship
My Ultra is by far the best electric I’ve ever owned. It sounds like a strat should sound. It looks like a strat should look. It plays the way a strat should play. But it’s the best playing, sounding, feeling strat I’ve every owned. There are appointments that this has that my other (MIM & MIJ) strats just didn’t have. The pickups have a wild array of tones. The pots are clean and smooth. The neck is incredibly sturdy and playable. Frets were perfect from the factory. The case is indestructible.There’s only one downside I see to the strat. The tuners aren’t much better than the tuners on a player strat. I was hoping they’d be smoother and finer-tuning than the standard tuners. But they still tune well and hold tune for days.If you’re in the market for a very high quality instrument that’s better than anybody else’s in the room (or city), then this is for you. Truly.

Nice but over priced
Iâve tested these great but over priced American made fender strats up against Japan made fender strats and I like the look and feel of those much better and they cost less than half the price. You just have to pay international shipping. Thereâs some great stores on eBay where you can buy one. However, if youâre not on a budget and prefer American made and donât mind over paying then this will be phenomenal for you but study both and decide which you like better. For me, Japan made is it. For you, you made agree or your the American made may fit your hands better but do your research before investing so much money on a guitar.
