    Very impressed
I got this guitar because of all the good reviews and as a guitar teacher, people ask me all the time what is a good beginner guitar. After running this through many hours of playing through various amps and effects…….. this is the best guitar. If you want a good practice guitar or if you are looking for something for someone looking to begin playing, this is it.Most sub 500.00 guitars are actually hard to play. The action is high, the frets rough, the fret board is rough. Not this baby. It is much better than any budget guitar I have ever played. The action is fairly low. The guitar is in tune at the 12th fret. It feels smooth and comfortable. I play rock and metal and it held up with no issues. The cleans are crisp and nice.Again, I highly recommend this guitar. Not just for beginners, but for anyone looking for a decent guitar that will not break the bank. This is a steal at this price.

    Great quality!
I’ve been playing guitar for over 30 years and I’ve had many guitars over the years. From high end Gibson’s and Fenders. I must say my expectations were very low as I just wanted a toss around guitar to mod. I was pleasantly surprised to how great the fit and finish is on this guitar. Right out of the box the set up was pretty spot on for my liking. I adjusted the pickups a bit, tuned it and Man! This thing sounds and plays amazing! The neck is smooth and comfortable with no fret sprout at all. The tuners are smooth and tight the pickups sound awesome in every position. If you are looking for an extremely affordable great quality metal guitar I highly recommend buying this one.

Solid working man’s guitar. A best buy!
Using a discount coupon, I bought my Fesley on Amazon for $159! The git played very well right out of the box. It was easy to set up, didn’t need the frets dressed or the tuners replaced and it stays in tune. I replaced the pickups with Guitar Fetish Big Mouth Humbuckers for under $100 and the git now sounds amazing – as good as most Gibson Les Pauls I have owned and played. Really.

Great guitar at an amazing price!!
I’ve been playing Les Paul’s for a long time and I gotta say for the price, this guitar is really nice!! This fesley has a great weight and the fit and finish is great as well, I got this guitar for$180 and it really outshines its price. I would put this guitar up against some in the 300-400 price range. It has great tuners and the neck feels fantastic. No sharp frets and no string buzz, I was expecting to have to do a setup but that was not the case with my particular guitar. I thought I would have to at least fix the action but it came spot on how I like it. Pickup’s are great as well and the guitar sounds even better than I expected. If your on the fence I would say buy it 100% because for the price your getting a lot of value. They could easily charge more for the quality your getting!

Darn fine guitar for the price!
I have been playing guitar for about 45 yrs. I currently own 14 guitars; Gibson, Fender, high-end ESP’s and some no-names and I play through different amps. Mostly a Marshall 3203 head with two MG412 cabs. The first Fesley I got was unplayable (more later). I must say that this second Fesley plays VERY well. The PU’s are a bit muddy, but changing the settings on your amp/effects can defeat most of it. I thoroughly enjoy playing it. Right out of the box, it was playable. Changed the strings to some GHS Boomers and WOW. Great guitar!!The first one I got was horrible. Strings over a 1/2″ off the 12th fret, the neck was dis-attached from the body… Just completely unplayable. I sent pictures the the company and they sent me some videos on how to fix the neck, etc (Really?) with the promise of a “Amp worth $50.” No. I returned the guitar through Amazon. Super simple. No word on the amp…..Not expecting anything.Bottom line.. Get one. No brainer. GREAT Guitar. Make sure to change the strings before you judge it.

    LOVE the Look! But…
Update- I changed to a roller Bridge for extra intonation room and tuning stability. Changed to a set of Grover tuners and filed down the nut where I needed to, Just a little. The frets weren’t perfect, a few little sharp ends and high frets, but there all good now. Every time I play it, I like it more, more and more. I’m looking to get another one now.Original review- I’ve purchased several low budget guitars here on Amazon. Some I’ve kept as is. This one isn’t the worst one that I’ve purchased. 1st impression, Nice looking Guitar. BUT, it will not stay in tune. The tuning pegs slip (feel like plastic) constantly while playing and while tuning. After 2 min of playing, it needs to be retuned. The nut is too high on the E, A and G strings causing any open chord to be out of tune and those strings to be SHARP. If your playing metal and try to go from open E power to F power chord, it is Out of tune due to the NUT, Not due to the tuning pegs instability. The bridge needed to be turned around due to the spring placement and flat intonation (like some other Amazon guitars) no big deal. 3 of the Saddles needed to be turned around also. 2 of the saddles do NOT move when you turn the screw for intonation. When tightening, they do move. But, when you loosen the screw, it just unscrews from the bridge and needs to be forced back in.I do like the sound though. Good for Metal. No great sustain, but not bad. I’d say ceramic or Alnico 5 pups. The neck was a lil bowed and intonation was out. These are normal from the Amazon guitars I’ve purchased and usually adjustable. The Frets are GOOD too. Medium/Jumbo I’d say. Neck is chunky and I LIKE that. Controls (small 250k pots) are smooth and noiseless. Has a .047uf green capacitor. The switch is good. It definitely could have been packaged better. So the look is a 5.Feel – 4Sound – 4Playability – 1Tune ability -1Packaging – 2It NEEDS money and work/time put into it. So, If that’s what you’re into, this Guitar may be for you.I was planning on returning this guitar, but the more I play it the more I like it. Planning on purchasing a new Nut, Bridge, .047uf orange drop capacitor and tuning pegs. Eventually, new pots and maybe pickups. Its no Gibson, but like they say, for the price, it’s a Good guitar.

The quality is really great for the price of this guitar. The build is really well done. Came with a factory set up right out of the box. Needed to be tuned back up but wasn’t far off. The intonation was right on. The action hight was not bad for a beginner. No fret buzz or dead frets. There were a couple of frets with light fret bite. A little polishing and it’s gone. All in all one of the best starter/intermediate guitars I’ve come across. The price can not be beat. Sounds great. You won’t be disappointed.

Dec 1 2024Unboxed it today and tuned it up…stock strings kaka poo poo. Changed them and much improvement.I have done nothing for set up, other than strings . I have been lusting the Esp ltd ec-1000 for years but not willing to part with the cash. So this is my alternative at $1200 less cash. Now it does not compare in quality, however, was not expecting it to. However, this guitar is way over it’s bang for the buck. Neck is smooth and comfortable, tuners are ok. Flawless finish and very minimal flaws on fret board. No fret sprout, neck is straight as an arrow. IMO I found pickups a tad muddy with heavy distortion. (Not a deal breaker). It sings sweetly with the same setting lead playing. Like the Esp. it has a body contour making it very comforable…no digging into the rib cage as LP tend to do to me. Guitar looks really sweet, and headstock is cool too…classy! With a guitar in this price range, if it comes with a gig bag they are usually pretty crappy and thin. The included gig bag is actually very nice and offers some protectionUpdate a review later when I discover how it like to be playedDec 4 2024 Second Impression….WOW WOW!Let out the truss rod about a 1/4 turn and lowered the bridge about a 1/2 turn ( low E) and the action is so buttery smooth. Not fet buzz to be found…ooo I like!Fesley reached out with a customer service follow up email ( unheard of) to see how I am liking it and for suggestions. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside..LOL. Now I feel bad that I poo pooed on their strings (comment). But then most guitars over the years get new strings after purchase (personal preference)For a $205 Canadian the pickups are good -+. Are they great, in my humble opinion…nope. But hey ONLY $205. How does this thing get built for that?? Not complaining…Update…tuners are growing on me and I like them…TTYL

I had bought this looking for a new guitar and because the internet praised this guitar and I see why!Sounded great with my PodGo and I didn’t change the strings! Now I’m sure you should but I didn’t have it long enough to care to change it! It sounded great and felt great too! Had a good weight and was nice to hold. Now it isn’t a 5 star guitar nor does it compare to a more expensive guitar (ofc it doesn’t). One issue with me is that the guitar collects prints on the body badly and it’s very noticeable and hard to disappear unless you wipe it, which it’ll just collect them right away again.I only sent it back bc I play left handed upside down so I’m picky with guitars
