Nice adjustable headset, does slip on my short hair
I don’t like the original supplied fabric strap for the Quest so in my search for the best style, I have tested a lot of head straps. This one from Pengguo was a daily wearer for a long time. I like the way this head strap tightens with the rear adjuster and supports the weight of the headset on the bar across my forehead. The idea is that the Quest floats in front of your eyes rather than applying pressure to the facial interface giving you raccoon eyes :-). Some similar straps make the bar that crosses the top of you head adjustable too but this one isn’t and still fit my noggin very well. My problem with this and every other head strap is that the rear cup that cushions the back of the head will slide up over time. The listing says that this strap uses a non slip finish to the padding and it certainly is better than most in that regard but it still happens, causing the Quest to slip a little lower, moving my eyes out of the sweet spot in the lenses and making me reposition. I have found the head straps with a weight (like a battery) at the back to help in this regard. However, I do like this head strap and it fits my Quest very well. The fabric coating the padding has a texture while still wiping clean if necessary. The rear head cup is detached in the box and you must attach it yourself but that is easy. Otherwise this generic head strap is a good value. Packaging was a simple cardboard box and a soft baggie.

Wish we’d gotten one sooner
This is one of those essential accessories, similar to how the Wii had those protective wrappers that made holding the controller feel better. This is a no brainer, it makes your head feel better while you’re playing VR, less headache if you’re playing for a long time.
