Awesome Gimbal in it’s own CLASS
As a music producer who shoots music videos of myself, this gimbal is invaluable! The AI tracker works amazingly, surprisingly, well and the ability to start/stop tracking and also reframe the shot with hand gestures is super clever! Doesn’t matter if you have a wide or tight lens on the camera, you can frame the shot exactly how you want and the tracker will maintain that framing as you move around the scene. Simply amazing stuff! The built in light is also an great feature for shooting in darker scenes, but it’s really only useful if you’re up close to the gimbal like in a vlogging situation. No other gimbal I’ve seen has these two features built in. As a result, while the build quality and stabilization are not nearly on the level of the DJI gimbals that I’ve used, this remains my daily driver because it has features that are unmatched by the DJI gimbals (you need a raveneye, complex setup with an app, cables, etc.) I also tried the native panasonic s5ii tracking with the dji rs3 mini over USB-C, and that still didn’t work nearly as well as the Hohem iSteady MT2 tracking.The tracking struggles a bit in low light situations, and also in heavily backlit situations. I’m guessing this is because it uses a tiny built in camera. Otherwise in 90% of situations it works well.Build quality is not great, the scroll wheel on the left side came loose and i just removed it.Sometimes calibration gets off and needs to be recalibrated frequently, fortunately this only takes a few seconds with five presses of the mode button and doesn’t require an app. In fact, nothing on the gimbal requires an app to use which is a huge plus.As stated before, the motors aren’t as strong as something like a DJI ronin sc or rs3 mini. That said, the stabilization is sufficient especially if you’re using it in combination with IBIS or lens IS.The gimbal is easy to balance and the axis locks work as expected.Overall this thing is great, and I hope it pushes DJI to incorporate the built in lighting and AI tracking features into their gimbals. Until then, I will continue using the Hohem!

Save your money
Overall, extremely tedious directions for set up. After it is all set up, will work when it wants too under the best conditions. Constant error 03, barely supports anything above the weight limit. support does everything in their power to NOT accept an RMA. Overall, save your money. And don’t get this.

Great Gimbal, but it wasn’t for me
I bought this to try with my CALF VR180 but ultimately didn’t go with it because the light was in my 180 view, and for various reasons went with the Zhiyun m3s instead, but really liked the MT2. Es el segundo gimbal que tengo (tengo un zhiyun). Me ha gustado que sirve tanto para móvil como para cámara. Está genial la función de seguimiento por inteligencia artificial (sin tener que usar aplicaciones), los botones “A” y “B” para hacer grabación entre dos puntos y la función que tiene la rueda de poder ajustar la estabilización horizontal del gimbal. Si dura sin dar problemas, lo recomiendo mucho

It does exactly what it claims it does the follow feature works like magic I think Harry Potter may work for this company 😉 the only niggles are the tripod base could have larger feet making it more stable (but you can purchase additional larger tripod bases for the gimbal) and the magnetic AI tracker could do with a much stronger magnet and or some form of locking mechanism to avoid accidentally loosing the AI tracker as a replacement will cost you £59.00 and it is very easy to knock the AI tracker off the gimbal, if you’re not worried about aesthetics a simple strong rubber band will do the job and is a lot cheaper than a replacement. Apart from those two minor niggles it’s an amazing devise it’s very light but seems to be made of high quality materials the motors work very well and it’s very easy to adjust if one wishes to add extra components to the rig, I myself am using it with DJI action 4 cam in a Smallrig cage with a Rode Wireless ME mic sitting on the cage without any issues, also the app which allows you control the gimbal works perfectly, in short I highly recommend it for those who require perfectly stabilised video
