I am impressed my this machine
Update on review: after I purchased a new computer with an i9 processor and RTX 3070 the streaming is 100% no issues, flawless. I can play any game on full graphics from my living room while my pc hangs out in the office. I can remove the helmet and put it back on and still be in the game with no glitching. My old pc was the source of all my issues with this. If you get yourself one of these make sure you have a good pc to back it up.First off the pros: The machine as a stand alone is perfect. The games available are great for kids and adults, and there are suprisingly way more than I thought with better graphics than I expected. If you are looking for something that is business and play look no further. The machine as a streaming device for higher end games is great as well. Though rightfully titled as beta with my pc I am able to play creed, saints and sinners, google earth, rumble, rec room, and many other titles though I wish I could still play the windows ten version of minecraft like I could with oculus. The streaming is so much better than I thought it would be. I’ve even streamed skyrim and as far as picture quality goes I’ve no complaints. Sometimes my connection is bogged up with others streaming on it, but I can’t fault the machine for that. It works and works consistently with very few bugs.Last pro, the bug report software is cool. When you have a problem you send the logs off and wait for the crew to help you out. Super simple.Cons for stand alone: no cons for stand alone, it works perfect for games and apps. I installed 512 gigs of extra memory but haven’t even touched the original 32Cons for streaming: if you are looking for something to play high end games on this can do some, but not all. Many games aren’t guaranteed to work with streaming though they are getting better some just flat won’t stream. When you want to take a break you might as well just end the game because once the headset comes off the stream gets interrupted and doesn’t come back. When you are done with a game you have to close the steam vr client and shut the game down manually before you can change to another game.In some cases the audio is garbled. Right now I run a pretty good system I designed for the oculus back in 2017, but for some reason streaming audio is garbled so I have to use my headset for now.I haven’t given this less stars for any of this because they state that this is in beta and honestly despite the bugs this idea is so cool and works so much better than I assumed it would.Cons for the Vive team feedback: takes forever to hear back.Last con, battery life is 3 hours max. But if you get yourself one of those battery backs for on the go charging you can increase the battery life to 12 hours. It fits in your pocket and plugs right in I use it and love it.Anyways to sum it all up I have high hopes for this thing. I hope to see the streaming get better, and I hope that support for this product isn’t dumped for something new like oculus did with the rift. Last pro, no need for a social media account to play your games which is why I switched to Vive to begin with.

Avoid it – Always made me nauseous
I recently purchased the HTC Vive Pro Focus Plus, and unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed with my experience. Firstly, the fit on my head was weird and uncomfortable, no matter how much I adjusted it. This made it difficult to wear for any extended period of time.Additionally, I found that I couldn’t use the headset for more than 5 minutes without feeling incredibly sick and nauseous. This made it impossible for me to enjoy any of the VR experiences that I had planned on using it for. I have used other VR headsets in the past and never had any issues with motion sickness or nausea, so this was a new and unwelcome experience. In contrast to other headsets I’ve used, the HTC Vive Pro Focus Plus was a big letdown. I expected a high-quality, immersive VR experience, but instead, I was left feeling uncomfortable and ill. Overall, I would not recommend the HTC Vive Pro Focus Plus to anyone looking for a VR headset, as the fit and comfort issues, coupled with the nausea-inducing experience, make it an unsatisfying and unenjoyable purchase.

An addition to your VR headset collection
Great device but the app selection is pretty limited and I don’t believe anyone is currently writing software for this platform.

    Sharp edges no native streaming
First of all the headset felt comfortable for a few min but then felt like it was cutting into my ears. 2nd all the research I did was saying native support to steam vr not actually the case streaming is not possible without paying at least 9$ monthly not including tax to use the streaming from your pc. Not worth that sorry. Visually looked nice but not for an extra cost monthly just to use it with my vr content from my pc

I may grow to like it as much as the Quest
Cool headset. A little heavier than the Quest but still comfortable.

viveport paywall, android 7, total garbage.
I received this device as a gift, it was supposed to be my first headset, bought specifically with pcvr in mind. it’s worthless for it. HTC expects 160 bucks a year to use it for PCVR, that’s assuming it would even work on my linux system. no third party apps work for it either as this unit is so old it runs Android 7 and only reaches SDK level 25. It’s ewaste at worst and an expensive paperweight at best.

Full 6DoF experience – Love the ease of carrying this around
My startup Chirp and I developed the controller tracking tech with the collaboration of HTC so I have seen this evolve into a real product over the last 2 years. There are new titles every time I put it on. It’s exciting to try new titles as they become available. I especially enjoyed flight sims and slicing (e.g. fruit ninja) type games. The controller tracking is smooth and you hardly ever see it lose tracking. It loses controller tracking behind your head or behind your back but it usually recovers the tracking well before the user can see the controller re-enter the field of view. You can really move the controller fast without losing tracking. It does passably well with partially occluded controllers. This is because the ultrasound diffracts around the first controller and can still track the second one.You can set a controller on the table and walk away and the controller will remain there. This allows you to anchor yourself for some basic room-scale movements but I haven’t seen an app that uses this feature much.It works in China and it doesn’t have Zuck’s spyware pre-installed. That’s a win for me.

If you’re a techie it’s usable, but stay away!
Video is great and tracking works well so long as you have a clear space to use it.Now for the bad side: this headset uses android 7.1 and requires a subscription if you want to use the official HTC supported PC streaming. There are no easy-use streaming alternatives that aren’t android 8 or higher.Overall: save up a bit more and get a quest 2. It can do steam streaming with less dicking around and you can simply load up sidequest if you’re hellbent on loading stuff not on the official store.

El paquete llegó en tiempo y forma, con detalles mínimos, mientras que el contenido final si llego y completamente funcional.la verdad recomiendo comprarlo pero igual considerar que los riesgos de la paquetera pueden ocurrir .
