JBL GO2 – Waterproof Ultra-Portable Bluetooth Speaker – Black

Bought a black GO2 in Feb 23′ for 29.00. The title says it all. This is possibly the best Bluetooth speaker out there for less than $30-35 right now. —It’s got a solid build feel. The front is a metal mesh, the rest some durable resin coated plastic. It’ll probably survive a moderate amount of drops and dings. —It’s small and very portable. Its portability options are better with one of the silicon cases with the carbiner clip on it. With the case, it can be hung from things (lanyards, belt loops, tree branches, whatever…) With no case, it can fit into cargo pockets, chest pockets on most shirts and jackets. —The sound quality is really good. Deep basses could be better, but they’re good plenty good for such a small speaker with a passive radiator. The volume range is nice. It’s loud enough to it clearly around 50 feet away indoors. —The run time is great. I usually get about 6 hours of podcast use from a full charge even though the spec sheet says 5 hours is expected. The charge time is as advertised, it’s about 2.5 hours from empty to full. —The GO2 has a 3.5mm AUX input! This was a definitely a factor for my buying it. This speaker can be used with things that don’t have Bluetooth as long as they have an AUX out port. The GO3, while beefier and has better bass, only supports Bluetooth, it has no AUX. —Extra bonuses – The GO2 has a microphone and can work as a speaker phone when paired with your mobile. It’s also waterproof, so it’s good for use in the shower or at the pool. All in all, the GO2 gives a huge bang for the buck in a pretty small package.

Easy to use, small and looks nice.
We use it for trips. Just to have a little music in the hotel room or out on our patio without a lot of fuss. Good product.

At 9 months stopped working
For an inexpensive ($22.88) speaker it worked fine. My husband did not like the sound quality. It sounded decent to me. Used it (probably 4-5 a week, 2-3 hrs at a time) while I was cleaning around the apartment. At 9 months it just stopped working. I guess as the saying goes you get what you pay for.Update: After letting my speaker sit in a drawer for about a month I tried to use it one more time. IT WORKED! It worked all day long yesterday. It might have been the connection that was causing the issue.I’m upping my overall rating by 2 stars.

LEGIT Waterproof
Okay purely writing this review based on the fact that about 2 hours having opened this speaker up and was using it at the pool, my friend accidentally bumped it in the water where we were all sitting. When I say the music (for obvious reasons) stopped after it went under, fully submerged might I add and no one rushed to grab it immediately as no one realized at first smh lol but right as soon as we pulled it out the music started playing back right after as if nothing happened. Everyone sat there speechless because WHAT. LOL. never in my life, even when things say they’re “waterproof” 8/10 times they never are. So least to say we were all impressed.Overall I wish the sound and base was slightly louder on the speaker, HOWEVER, it’s literally so tiny and compact the sound that it does provide is definitely solid for the size and durability of the product. Imma keep her cuz she does what she need to do and I could literally throw her in my purse if I needed! My kind of speaker!

Dura bastante la batería y el sonido es de calidad

O microfone dela é perfeito e o som da caixa é altíssimo, muito boa mesmo, só caso você pause ela, quando o som está auto ela fica xiando, mas não é tão alto e se baixar o volume ela para!
