Durable and works
First of all I must say that this is my first mechanical keyboard purchase. I have used them in the past but never had one of my own. Overall I am really impressed with the quality and function of this keyboard. I like being able to change the lights color and patterns with the preset features. The functions to change the lights color and patterns could be a bit more streamline as it can be a slightly confusing trying to remember which keys change what without having to look at the shortcut key cheat sheet. It would be nice if there was a was to make the colors and effects more customizable as other brands have but that’s not a huge complaint.This being my first mechanical purchase I must say that the biggest pro for me is how quite the keystrokes are. I have used other keyboards in the past and always felt like they were loud and obnoxious with the clicky-ness of every keystroke. I’m really impressed on how that is not the case with this keyboard. I went with the Silence Red Switch which in my opinion isn’t much louder than my previous membrane keyboards. The keys are really smooth when pressed with very little pressure. When I first starting using it I would find myself jumping or moving around without meaning too just because I was not use to how light the pressure needed to be for it to read the keystroke.It is a wireless keyboard which I can’t give an opinion on because I opted for it to be wired.My only complaint if you will call it one would be that the height of the keyboard seems to be a bit high. I find the height of the keys to be higher than my liking as it puts some strain on my wrist were I feel I need to use a wrist pad to elevate my hands and wrist so they feel straight rather then being bent upward at wrist.The construction is solid with a good weight and its not super heavy but stays in place while typing. I have had no issues with this keyboard and I have been using it for about roughly two months now.

I let my teenage kid review this as it is his – he loves the feel of the buttons, super sturdy, and cool looking. Has held up to everything he puts it through, which is a lot. Still relatively new so hoping it holds up, but assuming it does, 5 stars.

Amazing keyboard. Immediately switched the keycaps to fit the look I wanted and it was easy and straightforward. The keyboard has had no problems and can connect three different ways. The RGB is amazing and easy to switch with key functions. They also include a laminated instruction sheet that shows you all of the key shortcuts!

keys won’t work
I purchased This keyboard in April. I like the retro look and keyboard. However, the keyboard has started to malfunction. Some of the keys are not responding anymore. I tried cleaning it, although there was hardly any dust in it, it didn’t work. I unplugged it completely and waited a bit and it still didn’t work. I didn’t think that an $80.00 keyboard would malfunction so soon after I purchased it. I am very disappointed in this product, and do not recommend.

I usually overdo my research into a new product market like mechanical keyboards. After all that I’ve read, this is truly the best starter keeb. The weight helps keep it stationary and feels quality all around. Has a good thock for no mods! Amazing!

I’m not a Keeb enthusiast, but I have collected a number KB’s over the years. This KEMOVE K98 ticks all the boxes, and at an absolutely fantastic price. It really is the best keyboard I own, and I have keyboards that cost twice as much.My only slight dissatisfaction is only that of personal preference, I prefer backlit key legends and when I’m on the computer in the dark (which is most the time) I am having to look down on occasion to see what I’m pressing.. And the fact this keyboard has so many functions activated by hotkey combinations it makes it difficult to entertain the idea of swapping them Not to mention good luck finding keys that will fit this form factor with the right row heights and then you’re still going to have to google for the manual in 6 months when you decide to use the Bluetooth functionality with your tablet or something. But honestly, the typing experience and the sound of each key depression, the feel and form of the keys are all so harmoniously perfect I can’t stress enough what an absolute joy this keyboard is to type on. It almost feels like everything you write is enhanced just by the experience of using this keyboard. With all that being said, you can see that it’s built to exude quality.And again it’s all up to personal preference, but the build quality being indicative of those older retro keyboards leaves you limited in a number of areas. The form factor is large, the case takes up a not insignificant amount of desk space. While being a 98% it manages to slim down significantly over a full-size. It’s still chonky in all directions, and heavy oh boy is it heavy.It’s tall, there’s no bottom end in adjustment. You will have to use a palm rest or your hands/wrists will fatigue. Even with one I still tend to feel tightness in my hands after typing for a couple hours. But again, if you’re going for that look, or that typing experience. It’s difficult to replicate that without the girth and heft of an old school Model M. It’s just very noticeable when you fit nearly 5 Lbs into a device 2/3rds the size of a Model M.Either way, I think I found my forever keyboard maybe? I just wish it had an END key to accompany the home key. The sub-legends on the front of the keycap don’t count for me. I kind of would prefer to have it be just a couple mm wider, and include an End, R-Ctrl, PrtScn. But there are sacrifices to be made for anything less than 100%, the keys chosen give you the most functionality.

I’m an older person. This keyboard has a feel similar to the wonderful weighted touch of the IBM Selectric or the IBM PCs of the late 1980s and early 1990s. It is so much easier to ensure that you’re striking the right key–better for touch-typing.

Tastiera più compatta di una full, ma con il tastierino che trovo fondamentale. Switch tattili che mi paiono buoni, molto silenziosi peraltro. In ogni caso essendo hot swap si possono cambiare. Il peso chiaramente non è un malus, è una meccanica e deve essere solida. La digitazione è fluida, si collega con filo, bt e wifi. Collegamenti senza fili veloce e stabile. Arriviamo però ai problemi, è TROPPO ALTA e sbilanciata tra il davanti ed il fondo. Senza piedini infatti c’è una minima inclinazione verso chi scrive, non sufficiente per digitare comodamente, e l’altezza frontale è così alta che senza un poggiapolsi alto scrivere diventa una tortura costringendo il polso ad una posizione innaturale. I copritasti di ottima qualità costruttiva non fan però passare la luce, di notte non si vedono i tasti quindi perché abbiamo il plate illuminato dai led ed i tasti completamente scuri. Allego foto delle differenze con la mia Akko per far capire. Certo i tasti si possono sempre cambiare ma si perderanno i simboli aggiuntivi e visto che mancano dei tasti sono fondamentali. Poteva essere un best buy viste le qualità e funzionalità ma invece no. Probabilmente la restituisco, il problema maggiore è senz’altro l’ergonomia per la scrittura, che per una tastiera direi è fondamentale.
