Excellent typing and gaming expierence out of the box but minor easily fixable problems
The typing experience is crisp as well as the sound being very crisp. I used to own a Logitech g513 and a K6 keychron and the typing experience of this is very satisfying compared to those two, in fact it is a combination of both of the things I like. The hotswappability and wirelessness as well as the numpad. Some downside from this keyboard that I found is that it’s somewhat flexible, but most people aren’t going out of their way to bend their keyboards so for me this isn’t really a problem, that said the overall material of which feels sturdy as well as the RGB is tasteful. As well as, the 2.4ghz mode being responsive enough for me to switch out my original wireless keyboard and game on this instead.Moreover, the sound of the space bar is very hollow, I just tape modded it, and it sounds better than it was from the factory. And the Utility software it comes with gets flagged by my Antivirus as a Trojan, as much as I want to utilize custom GIFs on my keyboard I don’t want to install Trojans in my PC.Edit : I just notice that I got two Del keys which one of them is supposed to be numlock more on a factory issue, but I don’t really mind it, and I also realized how important print screen is, but I am often using win + shift + s for screenshots now. This keyboard is still pleasurable to type on and the battery last as long as my G502 X LIGHTSPEED (non rgb) so I charge them both at the same time (I use the burst rgb where it only emits light when I type on it) and also it turns off in a minute which helps it conserve energy. Yes, some compromises are needed here and there, but still it doesn’t take away the fact that this is an extremely decent keyboard if you want something good out of the box.Edit : One year later, This keyboard has withstood the test of my button mashing. Originally I had a video of this keyboard stock and it sounded amazing at it was however I started noticing some “anomalies” Example was I press the key H – its input tends to HH double type the input. Gladly this keyboard is hot swappable so I am easily able to fix the problem, that said I replaced all of the keys with a mmd cream v4 which means my keyboard is creamier than what is normal in this review page. I replaced the keycaps set itself as the double del was completely bothering me. and now it looks completely post modern retro which is the whole spiel of why I got this keyboard in the firstplace. The printscreen issue was remedy by rebinding the key with SharpKeys as I dont really need the insertkey that much. My keyboard has been plugged in wired mode nonstop and the battery has always been reliable ever since. the only time I use the wireless 2.4ghz mode is when I am eating and I want to leave space in my computer table which is really a quality of life improvement for me compared to all the other keyboards that I have used prior to this one. The application for this keyboard itself is no longer flagged as a virus, and I can now use custom gifs in my keyboard and in my case to keep with the old retro style I used the mickey mouse tug boat gif which is really just the icing on the cake for me. this keyboard would be perfect if it had a knob but I am fine with rebinding my fn + function keys in order to access the media controls. The numpad has proven time and time again useful as I use it to open my computer and the placement of which isnt as far as other keyboards that are normally out there in the market, its gotten to the point that I’m so used to my keyboard and I forget that other keyboard’s numpad are miles apart. the numpad is also an excellent place where I use my binding controls for fighting games and the layout of which is just ergonomically pleasing.Also I used the bluetooth to connect to my tablets and type remotely which is cool ! I don’t have to get those extra “dedicated” keyboards that sounds like plastic. basically this keyboard is all an MID LEVEL ENTHUSIAST could ask for. Its feature packed, not that wide and it is ergonomical layout makes me forget other keyboards exist. However a down side is that you physically cannot open the keyboard to mod it further without breaking the screen or the chasis, this however is highly optional. If you’re buying this keyboard for the purposes of “settling down” you may have come to the rightplace, the right switches and the right keycaps and a preferencial settings on the keyboard itself is all you could ever need. To me I am not going balls to the wall with the keyboard hobby first of all A. That is expensive, B. I have no time for that C. I only want what is reliable and this keyboard has proven time and time again that it is definitely reliable.To me this is the end game keyboard as I dont think I’ll be buying analog anytime soon nor anykeyboard for that matter I love this keyboard. I got it for 120$ but if you could snag it on sale for 90$ I will urge you give this keyboard a try.

The unboxing experience was impressive, including extra switches, keycaps, tools, and a coiled USB cable. I ended up not customizing it at all, barring the gif images that could be installed on the mini screen.The TFT screen, while some might consider it gimmicky, adds a unique touch, displaying useful information such as battery status, date, time, and connectivity. It can be turned off if deemed distracting, but I personally love it. The RGB lighting, though not my personal preference, offers various modes for those who appreciate customization. It can be switched off completely, but having a backlit keyboard during nighttime is handy.On the positive side, the keyboard’s build is sturdy, and its flexibility doesn’t raise significant concerns for me, though it may be a bit bendier than expected. Good connectivity, even on Linux, is a notable advantage. Despite not being rigid enough for some users, the overall build quality is commendable, especially considering the features offered at the price point for mechanical keyboards. It can get a bit ridiculous with the prices out there.The keyboard is not without its drawbacks. The software raises concerns about being flagged as unsafe; it’s a bit janky, and there is plenty of room for improvement. For example, the clock has trouble staying in sync with the actual time. The keyboard functions fine without the software, but customization options for the mini screen are lost. The discrete gamer accents, like the random number 20 and the “YOU HAVE SLAIN AN ENEMY” message in the corners of the keyboard, might not appeal to everyone, although they are subtle. The absence of HOME or END keys is a drawback for those who rely on them, and the board’s slight flexibility may not suit users who prefer a stiffer feel. Some little complaints
Overall great keyboard, feels and types like butter. Very smooth clack sound and typing feels very nice, I’m typing this review on it even. The LCD screen is cute and it’s really fun to just put a little guy there. I wish there were a way to create functional screens rather than just adding GIFs and pictures.I have 2 small issues with this keyboard: Sometimes the battery display is not accurate, and the cord that comes with is is pretty short, even with the coil. It’s usable and easy to change, as it is a standard USB-C cord, but still a small annoyance. The inaccurate battery display is easy to deal with but still mildly frustrating. The display almost always shows 25% but the light on the side of the keyboard is accurate to true low battery. Probably a fluke on my keyboard in particular, but still possible for others.Overall a great keyboard, I use it on my main desktop through the wireless and corded functions, depending on if it needs to charge or not, and it’s easy to hook up to my iPad for working around the house if I don’t want to be stuck at my desk all day. Very happy with my purchase!
