Best TV I’ve ever owned
Never leaving my house again. The picture clarity and colors on this TV are astounding. I never thought a TV could be this clear and bring such life to movies. No matter what I watched, it was as if I was experiencing it for the first time. This TV has THAT kind of an affect. I use my PS5 as my entertainment hub and instantly after just loading up the main menu I was blown away. I stared at the menu icons just appreciating how crystal clear everything was. I instantly started pulling up my favorite movies and rewatching them. I went with the 83″ version and it feels like I am in a movie theater. I went from a 65″ and this upgrade feels huge. LOVE the size.Con – Kind of…The sound with the built-in speakers on this thing isn’t all that great.However! I am used to having a sound bar attached to my TV and continue to use it with this one. The TV has a great AI feature to dial in your sound settings and performs test using the tv remote as a mic to adjust settings. Alongside using the speakers of the TV AND the sound bar in unison, the sound is amazing. This isn’t for everyone, but tbh if you are getting an 83″ TV that costs this much, you are not getting it for the amazing sound clarity. Invest in a home theater audio setup to go along with it or at the very least a cheap sound bar.Can’t recommend this TV enough. Love it.

Upgrade from LG C1 <3
Worthy upgrade for high refresh clarity with less pixel blur above the 120hz limitation of the LG C1. Absolutely bright, more than I was expecting but about right for a dark room and gaming up close, any more brightness and I would dial it down from 100 "OLED Pixel Brightness". Easily a worthy upgrade for both movie and gaming content, definitely a huge upgrade for gaming. Pre calibration the G4 blows the C1 out of the water, it is way more accurate without tinkering :). Thank you LG! Keeping both TV's of course.

Amazing quality AND comes with the mounting unit
I’ve been an Amazon customer for many years, and this might be my first review. I check reviews a lot so it’s time to include one!The mount that comes with this TV is small and is designed to fit into the back when it’s pushed back. Thus making it look very close the wall (image 2). Cable slots in the back to snap them in. No ties required!Bluetooth compatible so I listen with my wireless headphones. I’ve never had a TV that could to that.Easy settings interface.And last but first…WHAT AN IMAGE!!! Picture modes Vivid, Standard, 2 Cinema modes, Filmmaker mode plus another you can personalize. So clear and vivid in all modes. Just have to play with them based on what you’re watching. 4K shows are amazingly clear. Nothing compares.

It has met all my expectations, as a gamer and avid movie watcher this tv is outstanding. Recommend a good sound bar to maximize the tvs sound potential. No complaints. Ease of operation and set up was refreshing and the tv puts out some beautiful pictures.

Web OS / LG Channels is Trash
The picture quality is excellent. Brightness is great as it is the selling point of this TV. For a $2,000 TV, though, the UI, LG Channels and overall Functionality of this TV is REALLY, REALLY bad. In fact, I remember most of my TVs from back in the 90’s and 2000’s working better functionally than this. How is that even possible lmao? Literally LG Channels constantly crashes and freezes, the are countless superfluous apps you can’t delete and the UI just doesn’t feel up to date. It’s quite appalling and obnoxious for a $2000+ TV in the 2020’s.I’ve tried every trouble shooting option, too; updated the software, reset the TV numerous times, used an ethernet cable and disabled WIFI, turned off power saving options. I even used the Memory Optimization option. Literally Web OS is just really, really, really bad lol. I’m really happy with the picture quality of this TV, but aside from that, one of the main reasons I wanted to upgrade my TV was to get away from Rokus slow and clunky UI and operating system. This is just as bad if not worse in its own regard, though. It’s unfathomable. We live a time period where it almost feels like companies just really want to waste your time and energyâas if they get off on it or something. Dimwitted people plague this Earth as we all know, but it’s absolutely insane that reputable companies that make millions of dollars engage in incredibly dimwitted behavior and not just that, but in the most fundamentally braindead ways.There are a lot of incredible ways in which we’re advancing as a society, but it feels like we’re simultaneously going backwards with a lot of things, as well and WebOS, LG Channels and products that implement these kinds of functionalities in modern-times is a great example of that. Companies that drop the ball like this really need to take a strong, good look in the mirror because something is 100% wrong with your brain.

The screen is bright.
I am a fan of high end televisions and this is one. The color and darkness control are superb. Out of the box the filmmaker mode is great. There is one problem. It is so bright. I turn down the light if a room is dark. The screen is so bright light scenes can strain the eyes. I also wish I could turn off all the magic remotes movement controls, it feels like a wii. But the remote not being ir is nice, no specific sensor. Wish it was not smart but that is unrealistic. Still a great TV.
