The magnet that holds the phone to the charger is too strong. It takes two hands to get the phone off without affecting the position of the charger. And I use a magnetic ring holder/kickstand on the back of my phone (iPhone 13 that has a case). When I pull the phone from the holder, the charger pulls off my kickstand! I must pry it free and put it back on the case. I have other chargers, perhaps less quality ones, that donât do this. For me, this is a showstopper since I really like my ring holder/kickstand. Bummer.Now, if you donât use something like that on the back of your phone, this may be an excellent charger for you!It is solidly built. The rubber used to pad the base and iPhone charging area seem like quality rubber (dense and thick enough but not too thick.) It has a nice metallic look and fast charges the devices simultaneously. It has enough flexibility in how you configure the charger to charge things effectively and so you can view you phone if thatâs what you want.I have looped watch bands and flat bands. This charger can handle both. Even in the flat configuration, I was able to position the watch platform at a slight angle to accommodate the looped band. Probably not âby-the-book,â but it worked!Pro tip: Use a remote outlet switch. There are plenty here on Amazon. The reason? The debate on keeping a phone in a charger all day everyday rages on. The solution for me was to turn the charger on when I want my phone charging and off most of the time. I like the charger as a stand. It keeps my phone at an excellent angle. Solidly built, great magnet, great for home use!
I have been looking for a couple of charging stations, due to having limited space both in my office area and near my recliner. I selected this LISEN Qi2 charger based on the 15W charging power, as I have had a few that use considerably less wattage and just take too long to charge.I was definitely not disappointed! First thing I noticed was the majority of the item is metal, which allowed for a very solid feeling device. The item is narrow (rather than the wide one Iâm replacing in my office), which was a draw. Additionally, this can be switched between flat and standing positions.The magnet that holds the phone to the charger is quite strong, I was a little surprised by that, and do still have to be careful not to yank the entire charger with me when I pick the phone up. The watch charger is strong enough to mostly hold the watch in place in any position, though any unexpected movement can jar it loose.One of the pitfalls Iâve come across with some of these is promises of a high wattage but not coming with a wall adapter. No worries about that, this came with a wall adapter and USB-C cable.Iâm quite happy with this device. Now Iâm left to decide which location to use this (or if I just get two of them).
