Acton III has an impressive base.
Has an impressively deep base for the size and was spot on what i was looking for on all accounts: Bluetooth capable but mainly analog controls and input for a quick on/off as a remote speaker for an amplifier because generally other soft touch controls take a few seconds to fire up (not to mention obnoxious talking features to inform you about it). None of this nonsense here and as mentioned – unexpectedlybig sound. At testing this thing outperformed and beat out couple other larger speakers by a lot. Great product by Marshall.

It’s not cheap, but this thing packs a punch. I figured how good a small speaker can really be? Well, this speaker not only looks awesome on our bookshelf but it provides a great room-filling sound. We use it for background music mostly, and no complaints so far.

Stoked on Marshall
Like many of the other reviews…I’ve had many bluetooth speakers. It’s easy to buy this one for the appearance, quality build and cool factor… ( if you’ve ever been to a concert, and been close enough to the stage to see the “wall of sound” from the Marshall stacks, this will take you back, but when you link up to this little power house, you’re gonna be stoked. The separate base and treble are on point. Volume is loud enough to rattle your neighbors with quality sound. Some reviews mention concerns with price which is pretty comical, as this speaker serves as a home system for a pretty reasonable price. You’re gonna need to plug it in somewhere because there’s no battery with this model which wasn’t a problem for me, I was looking for an inexpensive home option. Def made the right choice.

Of course it looks great. The controls on top feel wonderful to switch on and off.Sounds good and fills the room.Some music genres don’t seem to sound as good. (jazz is fantastic to me on this speaker)The set up is very easy. It connects without a hitch, and I had zero issues.Edited: I think bluetooth is not the way to go for me since I no longer need portability.
