This is a professional microphone right up to pick up sound it but it’ll pick up a nice sound
So the cause of this is that you have to be right up to this microphone I’m in the second kind is is that even when I’m using adapter pieces and they should work they’re not working even though they’re supposed to work their design to work they work with everything you plug it onto the piece you plug it into the device and it’s supposed to work and it’s not working so that’s a huge con right there and another con when you don’t want to go when you can’t have your microphone directly up against something that can be pretty annoying like if you’re too far away AKA like an inch away from this microphone it won’t pick up anything or I’ll barely pick up anything

Stolen by my son.
I picked this up with the intention of Youtube videos, however my son found I had ordered it and asked to try it out. My son is way more tech savvy than myself so I allowed him to. Now I no longer have a mic as he’s decided to keep it for gaming. The following is his review. I should note he’s 25, so this isn’t a kid’s review:The mic is good. I’ve only ever used headset mics so it’s hard to compare it to anything. It’s better audio quality then the headset mics I’ve used, some of which have been more expensive gaming headsets. I’m sure it would be good if you need a decent audio quality for a video or podcasts especially if you don’t want to spend a ton on money. Noise cancellation seems good. There are two knobs to adjust output volume and one for adding an echo effect. Neither are particularly useful in my opinion. Most people would adjust those in post production or in whatever audio program they are using the mic on but they are there if you want them. There is also a button to mute all input on it that is actually really nice if you want to mute your mic quick. When muted it turns the light on red so you know output is off. I like this feature.Seems well made. Mic body is metal and stand is plastic, but seems solid. Three is RGV lights inside the mic if you take the foam cover off. They are just stuck on ‘rainbow’ mode and you can’t set just one color or turn them off which sucks, but they are there if you are into that type of lighting. Hooking up to my PC was very easy. My PC recognized it instantly so there was no software downloads or setting issues for me.Overall, for a mic under $20, I think it’s a decent inexpensive purchase if you just want a no bells and whistles decent mic to play around with or use with gaming. Obviously not high quality, but for the price I think it’s a decent buy.

This mic is iffy
I honestly wouldnât recommend this microphone. The sound quality isnât that great and it doesnât perform well. I sing, record instruments, and have a podcast and it doesnât do well for any of these things. Typically I like to use a condenser for music and I wouldnât even recommend this as a starter mic.

Pretty good but can’t completely get rid of echo
I originally purchased this microphone to use when I Teams or Zoom meetings however just before I received it, my son’s gaming microphone broke. He “needed” one so I gave this to him instead of me using it. He says it works pretty good but he can’t seem to get rid of a slight echo and he can also hear himself talking in his headset. He said if he has his headset hooked directly to his PC the gets a lot of feedback of him talking but by plugging his headset into the mic directly it helps reduce much of that. Overall, it works pretty well, but would be better if those two issues weren’t there.
