Perfect.. I don’t want all of my sundries taking up channels on my audio interface (stuff like cassette, vintage computers, iPad, old synths, etc) , so I sum them all with this little box into two channels and I love it.. build quality is indeed a surprise. Knobs and buttons feel great. The stereo inputs will preserve stereo image on the output. Mono inputs will be mono on the stereo output. Sounds obvious but that’s what it dooz.

Iâve only had this for 24 hours but thereâs not much to it. It really has a very low noise floor. Surprisingly it has a metal casing that feels great. The LED lights will surely help for performances in dark venues. Buttons and knobs feel good. Over all very happy and more than what I was looking for. Not too small but small enough to not take up a huge foot print in the studio or on stage. Great value, Iâm genuinely surprised in a good way

BEST unbalanced simple mixer I’ve ever used! ð¤¯
Jeeze, I don’t know where to start. I’ve been playing with mixers for the past 6 years since I started building my studio. I’ve dealt with large rack mount mixers, xlr mixers with sliders, DSPs, anything that can combine multiple audio streams into a mixed output. This is BY FAR (and for the price), the BEST simple mixer I’ve ever used. Honestly… EVER.First of all, the ports are EXTREMELY high quality. At first I thought I had the wrong size cords, but its just an extremelt tight fit. That’s so a breath of fresh air. And the quality of the sound reflects that. My quick first test BLEW me away. Absolute ZERO noise… Accepts both 3.5mm and 6.25mm connections. I think I’m honestly going to replace my large mixer with this at my studio table if I can figure out an alternative for my XLR inputs.The interface is soooo intuitive with backlights on every button to reflect feedback that audio is being transmitted. The only issue I had with my quick test was the ability to use direct microphones, which was expected. That test was just to see if there was any amplification functionality, which is not a huge deal for my needs.My last test was to use a few audio sources outputted my monitoring headphones. All I can say is WOW. The audio hasn’t sounded good through these headphones in a long time, and especially not through a mixer under $100.As a simple mixer, I have not experienced anything this good. I’m genuinely blown away. I have not personally head of “BOLANLE” before, but I will definitely be looking into other gear by them is this is my first experience with one of their devices. If they have an alternative that has XLR inputs with optional phantom power, or one with gain/amplification, I will immediately convert everything over ASAP.

Works well and shows signals even when muted.
This unit is pretty small and runs on a USB type C connector which is included in the box along with a wall plug. You can mute individual inputs while things are playing without any pops or other noises which is wonderful and it will show that an input is receiving signal even when it is muted. The mute button will be red when a channel is muted. All channels are color coded too and easy to see in the dark. I didn’t hear any hiss or other noises which is a good sign too so it seems clean. My only complaint with this unit is the 3.5mm inputs are a bit tight but the 1/4 inputs are fine. Selecting between stereo and mono can be done individually on each channel which makes things easier but I wish the 3.5mm inputs weren’t so tight. Perhaps with time they will get better.This unit is made out of metal and the knobs and buttons feel alright. Two of them rub just a little bit but it isn’t bad. It has enough weight but not too much so it shouldn’t slide around but if it does you can easily swap the included foam feet for rubber ones.For the asking price I think it is an excellent unit. The tight stereo inputs and rubbing knobs aren’t a problem and I haven’t seen other units in this price range with any meters until this one. The different colors for each channel is a nice touch too and it is very simple and easy to use.

Easy to use and well-built
Let me start by saying I’m not a professional. Iâm relatively new to playing guitar, sing a little, and like to mess around at home as a hobby, so that’s how this mixer is being used and the extent of my expertise.For my purposes, though, this thing is great. Its quality absolutely surprised me. Its construction is great. There are no oddly joined seams and no loose or wobbly mechanisms (buttons, knobs, etc.). The materials used are beyond what I expected. They feel high-quality and durable. And the device performs as expected. Itâs also easy to set up and fairly intuitive to use.As a bonus, it uses USB-C for power, so thereâs no need to buy something else or carry anything extra if traveling with this.Two notes: 1) Iâm not sure why the description states the model as MX400 while the mixer is stamped MH400 (in the promo pictures and in person), but it does appear to be as described. 2) The âmanualâ is a small sheet of paper (shown in my photos), but Iâm not certain more is really needed.Overall, this is a simple device for basic needs, perfect for people like me who donât require much. I can’t find anything wrong with it, but as always, I’ll update my review if that changes.
