You need two.
Buried in the instruction manual you find that this speaker only reproduces the left stereo channel. You need to buy a second, identical unit to reproduce both channels. The two speakers supposedly make a Bluetooth connection with each other. The instruction manual seems to be a bad translation. Some parts of it are almost incomprehensible. The controls are nonintuitive (e.g. a short keypress, a long keypress, and a very long keypress each do different things).I like the choice of inputs and the retro tone controls. But that’s about all I like.

Not bad for the price
The speaker is nicely crafted. Looks great, but the volume is off. I connected it to my phone via Bluetooth, and couldn’t hear anything. The volume was up on my phone and still nothing. I had to turn the volume dial halfway on the speaker to begin to hear anything, and it was low. With the volume almost all the way up, the speaker has a lot of bass and the sound is pretty clear. It’s not a bad speaker overall for the price. I don’t know if mine is defective or the speaker is built this way, but that’s the only con.

Balanced Audiophile Sound + Great Build Quality
Surprisingly Good Speaker. The cabinet is heavy MDF (so no internal vibrations). The top mounted controls all work fine and seem well constructed. At the current less than $100 price I know of nothing that can compete. I am very pleased.

Amazing sound
We were surprised at the depth of sound for the price. It also allows connectivity to 2 devices, so we don’t have to fuss around when changes users.
