YAY! Made in Korea (NOT China)
My first label maker I bought over 50 years ago, a US made DYMO brand. The plastic finally got brittle after 50 years of use, and fell apart. I ordered another DYMO, but this time they are made in China. I think I used it twice, and the thing stopped feeding the label tape. What a piece of junk. All I could find on Amazon was more Chinas made junk, that is, until I found this MOTEX label maker. When I saw “Made in Korea” I knew it was worth paying more for. This tool is very high quality of materials, design, and build quality. It operates very smoothly, like my old late ’60s US made DYMO. Thank you MOTEX.

    Love love love!
This is my first manual non-battery powered and embossing label maker and it is by far my favorite! It is super easy to use and really light. I would be afraid to drop it though. Not sure how tough it is and if it could withstand a fall on hardwood floors. It also fits nicely in my small hands! It came already set up and ready to use and with two wheels, one with letters and numbers and the other with cute symbols. It was super easy to switch out and set up.The tape seems to be pretty good quality – nice and thick. It was easy for me to peel and stick with long nails, might be a little more challenging with short nails. I’m not experiencing any curling of the edges yet, but we will see after a week of being on the back of my phone being an item with high traffic.

So much better than the dymo
This is better than the dymo version in every way. It’s so much easier to turn the dial, and it comes with upper and lowercase options. I wish I had found this one first.

    Works better than the Dynamo
I ordered the other brand labeler before I bought this one. That one came broke and unusable right from the start. It was very apparent that I was mailed a returned/used one because the labeler had an 8 on the roll before I made anything. Not super happy about that because I’m not sure how much of the tape has already been used. I didn’t get an open box discount, so that’s not cool. The all caps circle worked seamlessly, but I really bought for the cute small letters. That one was glitchy. It didn’t cut very well if at all. That turns out to be a waste of the tape… So I am going to return and see if get a new one and if it works better. The labels are super cute and if the small letter ring worked well, this would be a 5 star all the way!!

    Superior than dymo
I had a dymo embossing label maker for a couple of years and it has always been difficult to use, mostly because the letters get off track and having to press extra hard for it to get a clear letter, not a problem with this one, the letters are all in one piece so no risk of getting off track and just a slight press gets the work done, also the font on this one looks better but that’s personal preference.Overall superior to the main competitor brand and higher quality for either the same or lower price. Get this one instead !!!

    Works ok, not amazing
This product works ok. Not amazing, not awful. It is taking a lot of trial and error to figure out how to get clean impressions/embossing and spacings. It came with ‘assorted’ color tape, which was bright green. Since I knew I wanted black tape, I ordered it separately. It would be nice to have more clarity as to what color tape you’d get with the order. Don’t think I’d order it again, but since I have it I’ll make it work. Wouldn’t recommend buying it unless you’re on a budget and willing to touble-shoot.

    Decent, but pricey
It’s a decent label maker for use with plastic strips. A little pricey for being all plastic. Nice that it comes with one roll of label tape and a second wheel for more characters. Takes a good press to get good letter quality. Am surprised that the letters can be slightly higher or lower in line as they appear on the tape since these are coming off the same wheel and you’d think the wheel was manufactured to keep the letter on the same plain.

Pretty good quality product. Works very well, and no need go thru any manual, it’s very easy to use. It comes with one pre loaded embossing tape. Also, it has both Capital Letters and Small letters wheels along with numbers.

Having tried two already and given up on them, I was getting desperate! This one is FANTASTIC! I bought it as a result of a review of another and the reviewer recommended this one! So thrilled I took his advice! Reviews are always well worth reading. This one is easy to use, don’t have to press hard, letters come out beautifully bold and consistent.

Absolutely love this. Great design, easy to use. The results are excellent. I have used the name brand ones in past and they are disappointing. This one is quick, the dial is quick and easy on the hands, easy to load and does an excellent job. Very happy.
